Converting Litres/dollars Per Gallon Etc Help Gcse

$1.89/gallon is equal to how many dollars per liter?

use unit analysis:

1.89 $ l 1 gall
------------------------
1 gall l 3.7585 L

in case you havent seen this before,
you (1.89 * 1)/ (1*3.7585)
the gallons cancel so your unit is $/L
which gives you about 0.50 $/L

this is because we know that 1 gall is about 3.7585 L

What materials are there on Mars that are of value to Earth?

There are five things potentially worth mining on Mars. None of these would require bulk transport. The first would be rocks for collectors. Just as folks are willing to pay a lot for moon rocks, so it would be true for Mars rocks. This market would be rather easy to saturate, at which point the lower value of rocks would allow scientists and universities that are studying Martian geology to procure them. The expense to send them back would eventually make this market not cost-effective, unless cheaper transport methods became available. The second would be gemstones. Once again, this market would have limits like the diamond market does on Earth. But there would certainly be a market there, and the value per gram would make it worthwhile. If the gemstones were completely unique to Mars, that would considerably increase their value. Third, if they exist, any sort of organic fossil or artifact of life would be incredibly valuable. Each fossil could be worth millions per gram. The big fight there would be between scientists who want to study them, and collectors who prize them for their uniqueness.Fourth would be unique compounds and materials that were created in the unique physical environment of Mars. This would be of somewhat limited value; transporting a sample to Earth to figure out what the material is made of would tell us how to synthesize it, thus we wouldn't need a second sample of that material. It's very likely that it would be much cheaper to synthesize the compound than import it. It would be extremely difficult to identify what constitutes a "unique material" however, without a full lab on Mars.Fifth would be any high-level organics found at all, living or not. There, you'd have to deal with quarantine. Still extremely high value in very small quantities to both scientists and biotech firms, possibly billions of dollars per gram until the market was saturated. Better than fossils. The key point here is that there is (probably) no bulk material on Mars that's likely to be worth transporting to Earth. Finding gold or platinum on Mars would be nearly useless due to the cost to return it (although a minted Martian COIN might be well worthwhile). Collectors can provide a good market for Martian materials, but only for lightweight items.

What are some mind-blowing amazing facts about the human body?

Death would occur after ten days without sleep, whereas from hunger it would take several weeks.Within three days of dying, the enzymes that digested a person’s food will begin to digest that person’s body. The resolution of the human eye is estimated to be around 500 megapixels. Most men have erections during sleep.Women are born with better sense of smell than men.The rate at which a person’s hair grows doubles during an airplane flight.Human beings are the only living things which sleep on their backs.A human’s ears and nose never stop growing.A human makes approximately 20,000 breaths per day.If you were locked in a completely sealed room, you would not die due to a lack of air, but from carbon dioxide poisoning.According to German researchers, the risk of having heart attack is higher on Monday than on any other day of the week.A human eye can distinguish up to 10 million different colors. But our brain can’t remember all of them. The heart beats 35 million times a year. Yes, 35 million. A year!Boys have fewer taste buds on the surface of their tongues than girls do.Smiling triggers 17 muscles of the face while crying activates 43. However, repeated damage to the liver can eventually injure and scar this amazing organ. The longest bone in an adult human is the thighbone, measuring about 18 inches (46 cm). The shortest bone is in the ear and is just 0.1 inches (.25 cm) long, which is shorter than a grain of rice.Like fingerprints, each human tongue has its own unique print.Fingernails grow about four times faster than your toenails. In a lifetime, a human body will process about 100,000 pounds of food.Humans spend about five years of their lives eating.A human heart beats over 3 billion times during an average human lifespan.Facial hair grows faster than any other hair on the body.Women’s hearts beat faster than men’s.A human head remains conscious for about 15 to 20 seconds after it has been decapitated.Women burn fat more slowly than men, by a rate of about 50 calories a dayThe indentation in the middle of the area between the nose and the upper lip is called the philtrum.
