What are movies where aliens coming to earth to take our resources because they don't have a home and/or are resource needy?
"War of the Worlds". Book, radio, movie and movie. From the radio show:"ORSON WELLES: We know now that in the early years of the twentieth century this world was being watched closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own. We know now that as human beings busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinize the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacence people went to and fro over the earth about their little affairs, serene in the assurance of their dominion over this small spinning fragment of solar driftwood which by chance or design man has inherited out of the dark mystery of Time and Space. Yet across an immense ethereal gulf, minds that to our minds as ours are to the beasts in the jungle, intellects vast, cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. In the thirty-ninth year of the twentieth century came the great disillusionment. It was near the end of October. Business was better. The war scare was over. More men were back at work. Sales were picking up. On this particular evening, October 30, the Crosley service estimated that thirty-two million people were listening in on radios."

In the movie Alien, what type of acid did the alien bleed?
Hey, as most of you who have seen the movie "Alien" remember, the alien bleeds a very strong corrosive acid instead of ordinary blood. I don't have a copy of the dvd on me right now, so I can't check, but I am 99% sure that one of the crew members in the movie says exactly what type of acid it was. Was it nitric acid? Sulfuric acid? Hydrochloric acid? Some other acid? What was it?
What Order do i watch the Predator/Alien movies?
The AVP movies are spins offs, and so they have no real place in the continuity of the actual Predator or Alien movies. As far as I've heard, there are no AVP movies planned for the future (because they both pretty much bombed) All the Alien movies are in order. The Predator movies likely go in order too (despite the lack of date given in "Predators" it's clearly contemporary). And then there's "Prometheus" coming out soon, which takes place in the same universe as the "Alien" movies, and before the events of the Weaver movie, but having very little to do with the story.
Why is it that in every Hollywood alien movie, aliens all attack only America and come to earth only to invade or destroy it? Can't they create peace with humanity?
Hi: I created the Cowboys & Aliens graphic novel for Platinum Studios, am one of the producers of the film and Platinum Studios is one of the productions companies. I'll give you an answer on invade vs peace AND on why just in America. In our movie, it was just old west that we saw, and, living at that time, had no way to know (in the short timeline of the events of the film) if there were other attacks whether in America or around the world. First: why invade instead of peace? Humans are the same. Carry a big weapon, say we're here to protect and help, and then take over the country for religious or strategic purposes (oil, location, get rid of a threat). How often in history has "we come in peace" turn out good? The film storyline showed how the aliens were doing nothing different than what was done to the Native Americans. In this case, at least what we know in the film, the aliens wanted gold, pure and simple. They just needed to get rid of the pesky mammals that could stand in their way. Second: why attack only in America?Film answer: In our movie, it was just old west that we saw. People in that time period, that far out west, did not have instant contact with the world. As a theatre goer, we knew and saw just what they knew and saw. In the necessary short timeline of the events of the film there was no way, other than breaking out of the story, to show what is or isn't going on around the world. Platinum Studios Graphic Novel answer: In the comic storyline, there was a continuation online where our heroes coordinated boats to go to different countries and warn them about the aliens under the logical belief that this attack could either be followed up elsewhere or already was in action, and others could use help knowing how to fight. Plus, our guys had some of the weapons and other materials from the ships, which the cowboys and indians, each, in different ways, learned to put to use. Also, in comics, as opposed to many alien attack movies, the aliens talk, and we thusly learn of their plans and intentions.
