Copy Right Infringement On My Channel

Can we get back a YouTube channel after 3 copyright strikes? Do copyright strike expire?

Hey I have just created a YouTube channel unless you are a celebrity your channel will be taken down.WHY?If you get a copyright strike, that means your video has been taken down from YouTube because a copyright owner sent us a complete and valid legal request asking us to do so. When a copyright owner formally notifies us that you don’t have their permission to post their content on the site, we take down your upload to comply with copyright law.If you get a copyright strike against your YouTube account for uploading and publishing copyrighted content, you'll be penalized pretty heavily by having features removed from your account, restrictions applied, and more. Sometimes these copyright violations are accidental or have good intentions, so assuming you didn't maliciously violate copyright law, how can you remove the copyright strike against your YouTube account?YOUTUBE HELP ARTICLE ON REMOVING A COPYRIGHT STRIKEhttp://support.google.com/youtube/bin...source :https://support.google.com/youtu...

Youtube channel art Copyright avoid?

There is 'NO' potential copyright-conflict with what you are asking,
because you are not uploading or distributing copywritten content.

Thus you don't need to get a Partnership -- you don't need to give
rights -- and you don't need to give any credit

:-)

Your only potential problem is if you use music which you did not
originally compose, perform, record or produce, because the right
to those actually are with the artists, labels and copyright owners.

How do I use other videos on my channel without getting a copyright infringement?

Well you can't guarantee that you will not get a claim. There are some things you can do with others’ videos that are protected under Fair Use provisions. You didn't specify what you intend to do. You can use pieces of the source video for parody, critique, etc. But you can't just post someone's work in its entirety. You could try to contact the copyright holder for express written permission, but you might have to pay for the rights.

Would it be copyright infringement if I use Ghostrider gaming as my YouTube channel name?

Good news: you will not be infringing on a copyright by naming your YouTube channel Ghostrider gaming.Bad news: You will be infringing on a US trademark (78619800) held by Marvel, which applies to the use of this name in a gaming context.Worse news: Holders of trademarks must enforce their rights or they stand to lose their mark when it becomes a generic term. So I am almost certain that this idea will not pan out.-Mark

Can I get copyright/channel strikes or the video removed if I upload Witcher 2 PC gameplay using Fraps?

It is copyright infringement because it is not in the fair use category which allows for critique, review, educational, tutorial/walkthrough or scholarship purposes. On the youtube FAQ it specifically says that uploading this sort of thing is in violation of what they allow.

Normally I usually point out here that I had never heard of people having an issue with copyright when it comes to video games, but someone posted here a couple days ago that they had gotten a strike (probably erroneously as he did a very good job making sure he was falling in the fair use category and for a gaming channel, it was great). I always assumed that since you can't play a game that's on youtube, most gaming companies didn't really care too much since it was like a free commercial they were getting, but apparently, some companies do care about it. I wish I could remember the game or his channel so you could talk with him directly.

Disclaimers for breaking copyright or putting links to buy the infringed property does not help. People believe it does because they see other people do that. The truth of the matter is that probably the same percentage of youtubers that do that are getting pulled as the ones who don't add disclaimers. Some people slip through the cracks.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

How to give copyright if I would like to use some kpop instrumentals for the background music of my youtube channel?

Uh, no.

Saying "no copyright infringement intended" is simply you acknowledging you don't have proper permission and are indeed committing copyright infringement. You don't get to say one thing and have your actions do another. That statement is put up by junior high kids in some make-believe fantasy world.

You don't "give" copyright. You don't have the right to make and distribute copies. If you want to use somebody else's original material on your YouTube channel, you need to contact the copyright holder and get permission. Otherwise it's ILLEGAL. Links and credit and saying "no infringement intended" are but a joke.

Does CinemaSins on YouTube ever get hit with a copyright strike?

I was thinking of making my own cinema sins video and uploading it to my partnered YouTube channel, it's gonna be in the same style as CinemaSins makes his videos.

I was just wondering if I would be able to upload it to my partnered channel and monetize the video, because it'll be under Fair Use. I'm not using the clips from the movie for criticism/review, so would I be able to monetize and make money from the video?

Here's a link to CinemaSins: http://www.youtube.com/cinemasins

From what I can see on SocialBlade, CinemaSins isn't partnered: http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/cinemasins

Is remixing a song fair use according the Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976?

I just placed a remix of a song by 2Pac and Eminem on my youtube channel, as I've been doing for years now. I've had some videos being blocked in Germany already, but my latest remix is blocked worldwide. Now my question is if remixing a song and place it along with a music video created by remixing multiple other music videos is fair use according to the Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976?
