How to fix corrupted PS3 game data?
Ok so I have sims 3 on PS3 and I was playing it last night and saved it. Today when I came back to play it my saved game was gone. I looked in the "Saved Data Utility (PS3)" category and scrolled all the way to the bottom and found a file that said corrupted data. I looked at the info and it says my sims3 saved game name. How do I fix it???? I spent such a long long time on this game and I do not want to start over!
The Sims 3 Doll corrupted my files, and now I can't even open launcher!?
You could delete the file from your sims 3 folders. Go to Documents> Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and see if you can see the "Girl Doll Dressed" file there. You need to check your DCBackup folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > DCBackup) for a file called 0x038a68fe04da61a6aa65f939d77fbc37.packa... - if you have this file you must delete it. Also, one more thing. If you had the package file in your DCBackup folder, it could have attached itself to any recently uploaded content or content in your Exports folder. If you've recently uploaded something you need to delete it from your Exports folder. Hopefully this will get rid of the actual doll, and allow your computer to recognise the game again, but you still might have to re-install the game to get it working properly :)
Corrupt saved game on Sims 3?
You should be able to just delete the saved game in the file, also delete the cache files in the main folder as well, this will reset things. Don't worry, the caches will be created again when you play the game, it just resets them when you delete them. If you have any mods, make sure to use Delphy's dashboard to check that there are no conflicts. So yeah, just delete the saved game(s), and start over in the main game menu :)
Sims 3 pets xbox 360 corrupted data?
Hello, i was playing sims 3 pets for xbox 360 and i went to go save, it loaded then said cannot save on storage device, so i backed out then did it again then i saw it said corrupted data. it did this before on another profile so i had to start a new one, and its doing it again! i dont know whats causing this as any other time i have no problem saving. is there anything i can do to fix my profile i am very far in the game and i cant even think about having to start over please help. sims 3 pets xbox 360

The factor which affects said performance is the quantity of mods you have installed, not whether or not you have them organized.Bottom line, if you want your game to load faster, I suggest you take some time to look through your mods and ditch those you deem unnecessary for your game while keeping the absolute needed ones, like Master Controller or Story Progression.Also, make sure to check for conflicts often and make sure you’re running the latest versions of all your mods.
Sims 3 Corrupt or not properly installed?
I have installed the sims 3 a few times already but my hard drive was filled up and I had to uninstall it. I just got a 1 TB external hard drive and so I put my Sims 3 game and my Sims 3 ambitions on to it. I then tried to install the sims 3 generations but when I click auto play it starts the install shield then says that the sims 3 game is corrupted or not properly installed. I didn't even get the chance to tell it where to find the game. Is there any way to fix this? I haven't tried to reinstall it yet but I am about to. Is there any way to change a file in the game to tell it automatically where to find the game. Someone please help me :(
Sims 3 May be Corrupt or Not Properly Installed?
I have been trying to install the Sims 3 Pets and Seasons onto my computer. It keeps saying none of Sims files can be found, all of my icons have disappeared off my desktop, and this message keeps reappearing that the Sims 3 may be corrupt or not properly installed. I don't not understand what happened. My games was fine a few days ago, until I installed Origin. Since then I have uninstalled Origin. I have no idea how to fix this? Any ideas? I have all my games backed up, so uninstalling them won't be an issue. The thing is I borrowed Late Night and Ambitions from a friend who moved away. *But if I do uninstall, will my backed up games and content show up in the game again? I don't want to lose all of my families and store content I have purchased, but it seems like my last resort. And can I move Ambitions and Late Night onto an external hard drive and then transfer them to my computer again, or is it impossible?
The Sims 3 won't recognize my saved game. How can I fix it?
It is hard to say for sure without an error message, but I can think of two reasons. One is if you are now running the game without an expansion that was active when you saved. In the later versions of Sims 3, there is a launcher that let you start the game with only some of the expansions, even if more expansions are still installed. In that case you will not be able to load games that were played with more expansions. So check that first.The other possibility is that something went wrong with the save, either the game crashed just before it finished saving, or there was a memory problem before the save. This has happened to me once, and there was no way to rescue that game. Luckily I had an older savegame I could go back to.
Sims 3 Late Night File/Directory Corrupted and Unreadable. Help?
I just got The Sims 3 Late Night for Christmas. Whenever I try to install it, a message pops up saying, "e:\Sims3EP03Setup.exe The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." What's going on and why can't I install it?
