Cosmetic Makeup Like Faceoff

Why does my face break out whenever I put on makeup?

You're probably using bad brand that makes your face breakout and don't do well to cleanse.

Everyday, in morning and night, user cleanser. Always wash your face and remove makeup at night. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Tone, with witch hazel or rose water... use a scrub a couple times a week.

If you have oily skin, use pure aloe vera as a moisturizer in the morning and jojoba oil at night. If you are dry, use shea butter.

If oily skinned and acne prone, also used Milk of magnesia as a mask once a week. Yes it sounds weird but it works.

If you are looking for new makeup brands, the ones that I found that NEVER ever break me out are:

Ella Rose Minerals that I buy on Etsy or Iamgreenminded.com
Mattify! Cosmetics
Faerie Organic
100% Pure
W3ll People
Pacifica Beauty
Beauty Without Cruelty
Alima Pure
Ere Perez
Jane Iredale
Inika
Afterglow Cosmetics
Mineral Hygienics
Sterling Minerals
Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques
Pure Anada
Hynt Beauty
Monave
Rejuva Minerals
Gabriel/Zuzu Luxe
RMS Beauty

I have had even Prescriptives, Clinique, Neutrogena etc... brands that are supposed to be good for your skin to break me out. However with these above, I never had any problems whatsoever.

Do you always take your makeup off before bed?

It is not necessary that everyone take off their makeup before going to bed. But I'd suggest that you always take your makeup off before bed. I always take my makeup off before bed as it lets our skin breathe without makeup for 8 hours or at least as long as you sleep.I would highly recommend not only taking off your makeup before bed but also cleansing your face. We often think that movie stars, famous pop stars and singers where the make up when they go to bed but that is not true. You can listen to interviews given by the pop stars and you'll be more than surprised to listen to their advice, about ways to clean your skin. Selena Gomez revealed in her interview that she goes off makeup whenever possible.Taking care of your skin also means eating nutritious food, and avoiding acidic type of makeup. Always keep in mind that the makeup you use is as natural and friendly to your skin as much as possible. So the conclusion is that you might want to try to go to sleep without makeup and you will see the difference, no doubt. Well that's my advice and that's what I actually do. Take care of your skin beauties.Makeup is not done to change the features of your face it is done to make you feel more comfortable with yourself.Watch this video and learn how to look beautiful even without makeup, good luck!

What is your worst memory with a cosmetic product?

We used to have a high-end regional department store called Berger's. It was the one place in the area where Chanel makeup was available, and when the store had a promotion I learned I won a spa day with a Chanel esthetician.I was shown to a quiet room, ushered to a special, soft recliner, and relaxed as this lady removed my makeup. She slathered my face with a mask that promised to suck all the ick out of my pores as well as taking 20 pounds off my butt and absolving my sins, and said she would return to the room in a few moments.I don't know how long she was gone, but my face started to burn. I don't mean that tightening tingle that sometimes comes with clay masks. I mean the “someone just sprayed mace into a lighter a foot away from my face" kind of burn. I've had sunburns that hurt less than this. I began screaming for the esthetician; it felt like forever before she returned. When she removed the mask I was howling. It felt like she was shaving off layers of flesh with a paint scraper. My face was swollen, and tomato red. To add insult to literal injury, I had to stay in the city another 5 hours or so before my bus came. This was in 1986. I remember leaving the store with around $250 worth of beauty products courtesy of the Berger's management, not a one of them from Chanel. I never used any product from that company again.

I have small bumps on my face!!?

I have some tips about how to solve the bumps on face. Firstly as per my opinion before going to bed wash your face and always use natural cosmetic products which includes natural ingredients like sailysilic acid which dissolves your blackheads and death cells .Drink lots of water it also keeps skin healthy and fresh. Besides if the problems become more difficult then visit a dermatologist. Thanks!

Is it okay to wear makeup when I get my nose pierced ?

Well if your getting it pierced professionally, then they'll clean it with alcohol at first. No questions asked. Which is basically taking your foundation off anyways.. But if you want to clean your face off before you go then I'm pretty sure there's a bathroom for you to do so over there (: and when you do get your nose pierced, make sure not to mess with it a whole lot because that will just irritate it and you wouldn't want it infected. Wait about a few days after you get it pierced or when the pain lessens for you to put makeup by your nose again. And even when you do, it shouldn't touch or come close to your piercing cause it will still be fresh. Hope I helped (: and good luck!! Bet it will look gorgeous.

WHAT ARE THE long term NEGATIVE effects of MAKEUP?

Eyeliner:- can cause dark circles & the chemicals in eyeliner can cause premature under eye aging..you don't need eyeliner all the time try using just mascara & eyeshadow they can give you a more radiant/natural look & the mascara will bring your eyes out & replace eyeliner's job
Liquid/powder foundation- liquid is horrible.. so many chemicals some even contain silicone & that can seriously prematurally age your skin & block your pores if your prone to acne
Power that is non-comadellic (however you spell it) is much better. Rather then sinking the checmicals into your skin some of the chemicals just sit on your skin and effect it much less premature aging is possible, but barely noticable
Concealer- blocked pores mostlikely & premature aging
Pressed/Looser powder- barely any effects on aging
Blush- non ...that are noticable atleast
Mascara- no aging to the skin, but could cause thinner eyelashes as you age
Eye shadow- not much aging, but will still effect the aging process a bit depending on the brand & the amount of chemicals & this goes for every product!

Is it possible to take another face by plastic surgery?

Not really. If one doesn't watch "Face off" too often they might be willing to believe me. (I enjoyed the movie BTW)Some amazing things can be done in Plastic surgery but changing one face into another is a different ball game. Of course things can be done to dramatically change one's appearance but not as exactly as movies would have you believe. I can't make you look like me however hard I tried. Most of Plastic surgery is based on enhancing existing features and removing signs of ageing- loose and excess skin, fat, muscle, wrinkles, general drooping of facial and other tissues in the body, jowls, crows feet etc.Of course then there is reconstruction post cancer removal and post trauma where we have to get the person back as close to how he/she was before. All this and to hide those scars well is what we do. We are still a long way off from making John Travolta look like Nicholas Cage.

What cosmetic products are not comfortable on you?

Clinique face care bundle:I bought this bundle and it burns my face. I mean literally, burns. I had to wash it off after 5 minutes. I can't believe it. It's supposed to be mild and good for sensitive skin. Nope. burns my face off. Most facial care product irritates my skin for one reason or another. After trying all sorts of brands, I found the only product that's actually comfortable for me is Muji's Sensitive skin series. Most supermarket brand makeups irritates my skin. So I just buy very few more high end stuff, like Mac or Chanel or Estée Lauder. And I only buy them at duty free when I travel. Those are usually less irritating. But I still must remove makeup as soon as I get home, other wise my eyes will start tearing up.I rarely do mascara. I've never use any mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes, and I got tearing, and smeared my make up… Just can't do it. And forget about fake eyelashes… I can't imagine stick those plastic things on my eyes… I'd look like I'm winking at everyone or have twitchy eyes… ALL DAY LONG.I never do foundation… One because I don't know how to do it, and two because covering my face with make up all day seems like a sure way to get rashes. But mostly just because I'm lazy and I don't want to learn how to do it and I don't want to go through the process of trying different brand of foundation and find one that doesn't irritate my skin.I now kind of wish I got old and retired, so I don't need to do make up every work day and maintain a more professional look. I can wear T-shirt and sweatpants and don't wear bra.

Whats the best makeup remover?

I really like the regular neutrogina wipes. Not deep clean, calming, or something else, the original. They're really gentile and take off all your makeup. Cheap too :)

If you were to be without makeup or skincare for a week which would you choose?

.. oh God.. i can only choose one..?? *sigh*.. without makeup, its impossible to hide my facial hairs/shadow on days i cant shave.. i’d have extra sense of dysphoria to deal with.. even if i dont look in the mirror or take selfies.. its less bothersome on days i’m clean shaven.... that is a very difficult choice.. for me at least.. the longest i been without any makeup was 6days.. and i was ready to rip my face off.. could not, absutely not take a full face selfie.. i was brushin my teeth and cleanin my face with minimal use of a mirror.. i didnt go out of my home at all for that last 3days.. i barely survived it.... and now yur asking me to go ONE WEEK..?? oh God.... i’d have to choose makeup.. because risking my life or my face to self harm isnt worth it.. also, some of the makeup products i use is moisturizing.. and my makeup remover have aloe in it.. that’s sufficient enough for one week of replacement for skincare.. its gonna ruin some of the progress i’ve made since i started hormone treatment.. but at least it wont be as risky to my health.... ok.. i’ve answered.. do i win any makeup products..?
