Cost Of Ceramic Braces On Front Teeth

Should i get ceramic or metal braces?

I'm getting braces in the morning and I don't know if I should get metal or ceramic. No matter what I'm going to get metal on the bottom because they won't show too much but should I get ceramic on the top? Do ceramic take longer? What are some pros and cons about ceramic braces?

Please help, thank you! :)

Switch from metal braces to ceramic braces?

about $2500.00 and that's if you can get your orthodontist to agree to do it (a reputable one would not because there's no need other than cosmetic issues).

I had ceramic ones and I wouldn't get them again to save my life. They stain horribly, the ligatures that hold the wire on stain after like a day and you can't get them clean no matter what you scrub your teeth with. And they shatter and hurt WAY more during removal than metal ones do.

Don't waste the money and save yourself the pain!!!

A question about invisalign and ceramic braces?

i have buckteeth too, and i opted for ceramic braces, you can barely see them and they arent bad. im not sure abour invisalign i do believe that it is more expensive than any other treatment. Ceramic braces however cost me 400 dollars more than what the regular metal ones cost, and this was only for the top ones. Since you cant really see my bottom teeth when i talk or smile, i just got the regular silver ones on he bottom because that would of been 400 dollars more for the bottoms also. what i do like about my ceramic braces is that most people really cant tell unless they get close to me, one bad thing though is that your clear rubber bands that go around the bracket can be stained if you eat things that have a very dark tint to it. ex: bbq sauce.. even though i do eat these things and i havent had a problem with my rubber bands staining.. good luck :)

What is the average cost of braces in India?

The cost depends on whether you are getting it done from a private hospital or government hospital.I got it done from Government hospital. The braces were bought over courier from Delhi. It cost me 4000₹. There was no fee charged by the hospital.My treatment went for almost two & half years. It includes monthly visits to the hospital. Neglecting the travel fare ( hospital was at a distance of around 100 km from my place), there was no other charge.If you opt for a private hospital they will charge you for every visit, which you have no option to avoid. On an average they charge around 500₹, but it may vary drastically. You can do the math and find that for a two and half years' treatment these monthly visits will cost you around 15000₹.I hope it helps with your answer.Thanks!

Cost for braces for slight underbite?

Most American dental insurance companies usually only cover $1,000 on braces for the lifetime of the patient as they consider braces to a cosmetic need. (The NHS in the UK can be the same way, from what I've read.) Depending on the orthodontist you see, the cost can be between $3,500 - 6,000. Most orthodontists will break down the costs to an affordable number.

For an example, the estimate that I received from the orthodontist for the braces I need before and after the surgery I'm looking at having, the cost breaks down like this:

$3,961 for steel braces;
$1,000 covered by my insurance company;
$2,961 my out-of-pocket expense;
$461 for the initial fee;
$125 a month for 20 months.

Ceramic and clear braces like Invisilign cost more. A woman I work with is paying $6,000+ for Invisilign and you wouldn't know she even has them in.

Just be glad that you don't need to have surgery to correct your underbite like I do.
