Could A Fake Louis Vuitton Belt Rip Or Break

My Louis Vuitton Belt is Breaking?

if you could afford one in the first place, just buy a new one?!

Why is Louis Vuitton so expensive?

Why Are Louis Vuitton Bag Prices So Expensive? We get asked this question a lot: why are Louis Vuitton bag prices so high? Even a gently used Louis can command a generous sum. There really is a reason for it though, we promise. Without a doubt, the brand’s heritage and legacy feed Vuitton’s high prices, but it goes beyond that. The company has been honing its production practices, materials, and quality standards for over 150 years, and it has resulted in bags that are timeless and virtually indestructible. Here are a three factors that impact LV costs:#1: Where Louis Vuitton Bags are MadeAll Vuitton workshops are located in Europe or the United States, and craftspeople are paid fairly for their skill sets… in other words, there are no sweatshops involved in production. Vuitton craftspeople complete over a year of training before working independently. Some special LV pieces require over 300 steps to produce, but the average is about 100 steps. Vuitton bags are made to last a lifetime, and the company operates repair centers all over the world. For a small fee, any worn part of the bag can be replaced for the entire life of the bag.#2: The Standards LV Uses When Selecting Materials and Crafting BagsAll skins, including Vachetta leather, are inspected for blemishes and imperfections before production begins. Many of Vuitton’s exotic skins such as croc and python are burnished to a shine by hand using rolling agate stones. Vuitton’s coated canvas products are made to be water repellent and stand up to extreme wear. In the final stages of production, top-stitching and edge-glazing are done by hand.#3: The Quality Control Process Vuitton Uses to Test New Bag ModelsLouis Vuitton has an insane quality control process, employing a bevy of custom-made robotic machines that simulate extreme wear and tear. Zippers and closures are opened and closed more than 5,000 times, materials are exposed to UV light rays, and bags are dropped repeatedly for days on end with 7 pound weights inside. It may sound extreme, but these torture devices yield some of the most durable luxury goods on the market.

Is this gucci belt real or fake?

Replica.

Four digits on serial number rather than six on the second set. ALL gucci belts ive seen have a six-six- two/three-two code serial number : Model no.-Store no.- Size in CM- size in IN. Also, box is waaaaay too small. Belt barely fits! Check some videos on youtube and the boxes you'll see allow the belt to have plenty of space to roll it as minimum as possible. Also, if they were to keep it brand new with box, why wouldnt they have the receipts? Its a little shady. Especially with this recent model which was brough earlier this year I believe.

check how the 'Firenze 1921' is very small in comparison to the rest of the box, whereas in the eBay one, the detail is rather big.

Other than this, it is a 1:1 replica. Only thing that could make a person spot it as a fake would be the buckle tone, but only guys that truly know Gucci belts would spot it, and even them would have a hard time. Unless someone knows how to inspect it (serial number) it could be passed as authentic. The only thing is that youd be getting ripped off, as it is in the 200 price mark. This belt was probably around 80 dollars after shipping from Chinese factories. My only concern would be the durability of the item, but I dont know the quality of replicas. My advice is that you get the original thing if you can afford it, if you cant, look on youtube for replica quadruple A belts. Those are the same as the belt you showed us in this question.

Good luck.

Ignore the other guy, he clearly doesnt know what hes talking about, and probablt hve never owned a Gucci belt. Louis Vuitton are $500 USD. Guccis average is 325 a belt now that the prices have changed. The price diff is a lot, and honestly, if youre thinking about coated canvas, it is exactly the same. I dont know about leather, but usually LV leather is around 600 USD. He says youre not getting the price worth, but if you compare it to LV, the price is even more ridiculous for what youre getting.

Is it true that Louis Vuitton burns all their unsold bags?

It's not entirely true.As you may know, Louis Vuitton doesn't have sales (at least not public sales) they either sell a product at a given price or discontinue it. This is to make sure that everybody pays the same price for an item. But before the burning, they organize private sales for Louis Vuitton employees that other LVMH employees can also attend sometimes. So about twice a year, they will gather all of the discontinued items in all available sizes in a big warehouse and let the employees buy them at a very low price, even at cost! And under strict rules: you may buy gifts for someone but they track each item and if your gift ends up in Ebay they know who to ask.The items are very carefully chosen by a dedicated team and may have been discontinued from stores for many years. But they will keep offering them to employees until they decide it's not worth it anymore. When this happens, they will effectively destroy them! While it may seem like a crazy move, it's actually a well thought business decision.Luxury items are considered luxury for their scarcity. By destroying the remaining, you control the demand and your goods won't flood the market and end up in places you won't like or bad for your image.
