Could An Experienced Astrologer Recommend A Good Book For Me

Can an experienced astrologer or an old person tel me that does our future can be changed by doing good things?

Everybody has good & bad phases in life.
Even Ram & Krishna had days of sorrow / tensions.
u can only reduce ur tensions & thus bad effects by being enlightened.
Sat-sang is the only way to get enlightenment.
Sat-sang means company of good friends, good gurus, good books/ good websites/good-inputs.Meditation, poojas, including.
i can suggest reading of "vishnu-sahasranam" or 7 times "hanuman chalisa" to cut bad karmas effects.
Besides u must read "Sai-sadcharitra" & "autobiography of a yogi". u may get free online books somewhere in my websites ( see my profile).
u may try to follow brahmrishi kumar swami,
baba shivananda dwarka, del, http://shivyoga.com
baba ramdev http://divyayoga.com
vipasana guru sk goenka http://dhamma.org
http://ammabhagwan.org
& choose one as per ur liking.

Yoga u must start immidiately.
Learn FREE from http://divyayoga.com or asthatv.com
When u do all 5 pranayams , shavasan , hasyasan , daily sitting in front of astha tv morning 5.30 am.
ur negitivity will vanish like water drop on red hot pot.
This will reduce ur past bad karmas balance.

Can you recommend good books to me?

My 2 suggestions:

Frozen Fire.
The very first line is the girl picking up the phone and a boy's voice says, "I'm dying." It gets even better from there.

13 Reasons Why.
A female classmate commits suicide and then sends a box of cassette tapes to the house of the boy who crushed on her, only to drop the bombshell that he's one of the 13 reasons why she killed herself, and if he listens to the tapes he'll find out why. WOW

Can you recommend a good book(s) for me?

I'm reading a SKEW of good books right now.

"The Help"- Kathryn Stockett. Just finished it, and it's so good, she has a perfect tone throughout the book. It revolves around the lives of two maids and a white southern woman. Normally, I'm not into Civil Rights fiction books but this one is something to try.

"The Kite Runner"- Just started, it's good so far.

"The Wind Up Bird Chronicle"- Just started but it draws you in quickly.

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame"- Over half way through and it's unbelievable.

"Speak"- Finished that a few weeks ago, I don't normally like teen books but this one was really good.

Could you recommend a good book for me?

You didn't mention Lord of the Rings. If you like the Eragon series you would love Lord of the Rings. It's just amazing. The movies are good but the books are amazing.

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon are more of an epic like Wuthering Heights, etc. It's a romance but so much more. It's my favorite of all time.

Oh and a new favorite is written by Charlaine Harris. The Sookie Stackhouse series. It starts with Dead Until Dark and goes on for 7 books, the 8th is due out in May - I can't wait!! The new HBO series TrueBlood is based on these books.

Best of all you can find these books at any library for free. Buying books all the time can get very expensive!

I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells [upcoming movie]& Queen of Babble [upcoming movie], and tons of others), Sophie Kinsella's (AKA: Madeleine Wickham) (Shopaholic [movie based on her books] & Remember Me), Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed & Certain Girls), Jane Green (Mr. Maybe) Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue), Lauren Weisberger (Devil Wears Prada, Chasing Harry Winston), and Candance Bushnell (Sex and the City) books. They are all great authors!

For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), All-American Girl (up coming movie), Jinx, Airhead and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her.

If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me.

You should use the website, What Should I read Next. This website will make perfect suggestions based on what you have read.

What are your top book recommendations for studying astrology?

It sounds simple but the first book I would recommend is The Astrologer's Handbook. This was one of my first "real" astrology books, and I still use it as a reference even after I've had a few years under my belt now....http://www.amazon.com/Astrologers-Handbook-Julia-Parker/dp/0916360598/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1260802081&sr=8-2

There's also Astrology Made Easy, which is a invaluable resource. http://www.amazon.com/Astrology-Made-Easy-Handy-Reference/dp/047314106X/ref=tag_tdp_ptcn_edpp_url

Both of those go way beyond Sun signs and can be used for reference for years....
