Are dinosaurs still alive???
There have been (even recently) reports of strange animals in the amazon and the congo that sound a lot like dinosaurs. And there are reports of giant flying reptiles in Indonesia, and so forth. There are thousands of square miles of almost impenetrable swamps and thick jungle in the world. And natives in some of these places describe beasts that fit with what just might be dinosaurs. And what about all the sightings of lake monsters? This is a field called cryptozoology—the search for hidden animals. There just might be a few dinosaurs left, teetering on the edge of extinction. We are constantly discovering new species of animals and plants in remote areas. A tree can’t run away and hide and yet the Wollemi pine tree avoided detection until just recently (said to have become extinct millions of years ago).

100 years ago there were books about explorers finding dinosaurs on some previously unknown island. And movies in the 1950s. But we have close-up satellite photos of every inch of the world's surface. A brontosaurus couldn't hide! (BTW there's no such thing as a brontosaurus. A few years ago they realized that the brontosaurus and apatosaurus were the same thing, and since the apatosaurus was discovered first, they just dropped the name 'brontosaurus'.) When Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Purchase and sent Lewis and Clark to explore this new, completely 'unexplored' territory (where Indians had lived for thousands of years), he imagined they might find herds of wooly mammoths grazing on the great plains! 8^) That would have been cool. But you know, after 300 years we are still discovering new species all over the world. So perhaps it's possible -small- dinos exist somewhere, the size of tree frogs.

Are their still dinosaues alive. Please don't say this is a stupid question and please don't tell me about birds being like dinosaurs. Alright would it be possible? Their are descriptions of people in the Africa Depicting a dinosaur. Not like a T-Rex just mostly like a brontosaurus. The Congo is not all explored yet and also not many parts of South America which people say their are also Dino's their since during Pangea, South America and Africa were once together. So it would be logical to believe they were their? Since the Dino mostly depicted in scripture is what we believe is a vegetarian Dino is it possible it survived in a cave or managed to surive under water were their was food like fish? And almost can you tell me places where dinosaurs have been seen before I would like more information? Tell me why they would of survived and why not. :)

they are not alive went extinct thousands of years ago but thier are decendants like the reptiles (lizards, dragons (komodo, bearded), anacondas) birds, fish (sturgeon, swordfish) mamals (elephant) tigers etc. they say the swordfish are the closet decendants and they would have been able to survive the asteroid collision with earth. and if ya believe in the lockness monster, nessie, champ. it's just common knowledge. good enough? hope it helps!

Someone asked about dinosaurs in the Bible. Read the book of Job, you'll find dinosaurs there. Also, the Bible tells us clearly that the Earth isn't millions of years old....only roughly 10,000. The Bible tells us the Flood destroyed most of life just a few thousand years after Earth's creation. Is it impossible that there were dinosaurs on the ark? What about myths and legends? Almost every culture have stories about dragons.
If the dinosaurs were alive today?
The butterfly effect would propagate and we would probably not be here today. But playing along the hypothetical: 'if dinosaurs and we were alive today what would be the current situation', I believe we would undoubtedly still be the dominant species. Our superiority is not due to the fact that we are enormous, scary organisms; in fact there are many, many other animals (like sharks, lions, tigers, just to name a few) which in a strictly physical fight would kick our @ss. Using sharks for example, there are only about 50-70 shark attacks worldwide per year, while 73 million sharks are killed each year because of humans alone!! What makes us 'special' is our brains which have undergone significant evolutionary development. We are one of the few species to use tools, like you mentioned "guns bombs, etc". So in conclusion I would not be surprised if the dinosaurs were the ones becoming extinct because of us, rather than us being harmed by them.
