Is there anyone emo/scene/goth/alternative in lebanon?
So im a girl and i have been living here for a long time but never actually met someone like me. No one even likes the bands i like (bvb, sws, ptv, mcr, om&m, aa, bmth, ect..) i would actually like to meet someone who shares the same interests as me. if you are into these kind of stuff and lebanese and emo/scene/alternative/goth, can you please leave your kik here so i can message you? idk if there is anyone actually like me here... I want to do alternative( goth, punk, psychobilly) modeling but im only 15?
No agencies that I know of, but there is a site called Pinup Lifestyle which is an online community for pinup, rockabilly, psychobilly, and alternative models, photographers, hair and make up artists, merchants, etc. I think most want people over 18 because it is easier but not always. It's a great place to network and get your feet wet. People are very generous with advice and introducing you to people who will help you get started. I know Hot Topic uses models under 18 but I think you have to live in LA. I have a profile on there and it is how I got started modeling. (I just finished my first shoot for a corset company!) Question for alternative girls? (scene,emo,hipster,goth,indie etc)?
do you think i am cute? i am a boy, people say i look kind of androgynous, i've been called scene, emo, hipster, goth, and indie, but i honestly don't know what i am. i wear skinny jeans, converse, etc. i know most girls like muscly guys or manly guys, i am obviously not that and if that is what you are into im probably not your type and i dont care, honestly if you are super normal i don't even want you to answer because im not into normal people or interested in their opinion, its always the same.... anyways- to the alternative girls out there, what would you think if you saw me? http://i47.tinypic.com/262oavk.png http://i49.tinypic.com/afeha9.png
Can you be emo and goth at the same time ?
ok so i'm mostly emo inside people bully me and say all kind of mean thing to me I force myself to act like a masochist (like to be bully) and ya i'm really emo inside but I donnot like emo style painting my hair is ok but tatoo drug and piercing are not for me I also listen to depresive music but I dress up gothic enjoy doing dark poetry and writing and thing like that I have goth glove and love them dressing up as gothic lolita is my passion so is it possible to be emo AND goth at the same time ?

What the difference between goth, emo, skater, punk, scene, and preppy?
If you are talking about style of dress then these are the differences. Goth-Usually all black, or darker shades. Romantic, Renaissance, Victorian. Imagery of the darkness and of the night. Finding beauty in dark places. simple dark makeup sometimes a black lip but not always. makeup generally nicely done and put together although dark and mysterious. Androgyny is common. hair usually black but sometimes other colors Emo-Short for emotional. Lots of broken hearts and razorblades. Lots of talk of depressed and lonely. Torn tattered and skinny jeans. Hair in the eyes and heavy makeup. Skater- baggy clothes with an edgy rock influence and not thuggish. Skate shoes, caps, girls usually wear little to no makeup. Usually a dark eyeliner on waterline and nothing else Punk-All about anarchy and breaking rules. the realms of ripped denim with punk pins and patches, plaid, and the mow hawk all rule this area of dress. makeup is usually very intimidating and straigth forward. shaved heads are also tolerated...converse or in your face boots...studds spikes and pleather...leopard print and zebra... Scene-Is a new term to me. In my opinion its a clash of neon emo raver and emo screamo band clothing... Preppy- polos, khaki, an flip flops. acceptance of ones own natural hair color or dying it blonde are common here. makeup is usually pretty and soft like trying to be innocent and sweet. college shirts and hoodies also common, as well as plaid shorts and cargo shorts for guys and tight jeans on girls. Serority fraternity and the average college student come to mind. lots of pinks with the girls.
Do you think that being a Goth or an Emo is ok?
Yes, I do. Those that have a problem with it are usually ill-informed or misunderstand the aesthetic of the Goth/ALT/Emo lifestyle. In fact these are three different unique but closely tied styles.Most Goths or Emos are more accepting of other, people/ genders/ races/ sexualities/ lifestyles/ whatever it is that you identify as. So that makes being Goth or Emo, more than okay in my book.
Is Green Day Goth or Emo?
Neither, they are punk or alternative
