Could I Get In Trouble If I Ran Away From Home

Can i get in trouble if a friend ran away to my house?

Well my really good friend (almost 16) who lives close to me randomly came to my house crying saying her mom kicked her out and told her she didnt want anything to do with her because her mom caught her dating this guy 3 years older than her (theyve been going out for 2 years). She got upset cause she thought that he was just trying to get in her pants but shes still a virgin and i met him and hes the sweetest guy ever:P And she asked to stay at my house for the night and i told her she could as long as she wants since her mom kicked her out, and later on we were hanging out and my mutual friends started texting asking me if i knew where she was because her mom was telling everyone she ran away and she even called the police to track down her boyfriend to try to get him arrested. So she was just crying and upset because now everyone thinks shes a runaway when her mom was the one who kicked her out and she called her mom to work things out on restricted but her mom was just like i have nothing to say to you and if i find you forget about having a life or seeing your boyfriend again. And she just started crying and saying she cant go back her mom will beat her because apparently she hits her but its not a big deal:l and her mom is just a ***** she calls her ugly all the time its horrible. And i just dropped her off with her boyfriend so they can work things out but she may stay over at my house again and i dont mind but then im just afraid theyll find her and my parents will get arrested because they have no idea (im 16 btw) but then im stuck in the middle and i dont know what to do, im not going to tell on her because her moms evil but then im lieing to so many people

If you're under 18 and run away, will you get in trouble?

Running away never solves a problem; it only creates more. Can’t you sit down with your parents or caregivers and tell them how you are feeling? If you can’t do this, please talk to a teacher, clergy-person, or some other adult. If you have been physically abused, you should report it to a law enforcement agency, such as your local police or go to a medical doctor, who will report it for you.

I want to run away from home, I'm 16?

take it from someone that did run away at the same age for pretty much the same reasons.DONT. running away even though i did make it eventually, set me very far back in life and in all honestly some of the people i met on my own were on the "run" when i met them are still on the"run" ten years later. it could be a situation that you dont recover from not to mention that some of the rules my parents had were acually right and saved my life a couple of times. i beg you to think this through it could be the worst decision you ever make

Would a 17-year-old get in trouble for running away?

Yes, but not only in the sense you are thinking of. The worse trouble would come when you are on the street with no where to go. It only takes one predator to see you and you will be used, abused, mistreated and turned into someone you are not. Try to find a different way of dealing without running away. If you are being hurt, you can go to Child Protective Services. You will at least be in the system and not on the streets. You would only be in it until you are 18. I think you would have a better chance of survival if you do that rather than just running away. There is also a national abuse hotline you can call if you can get to a phone. 1–800–422–4453. Stay safe. If you need someone to talk to, go to a school nurse or other trusted adult. Don’t make a huge mistake and ruin your life.

How much trouble would I be in for running away at 15 years old?

Here is what will happen. They will search every nook and corner of the city for you. Your mom will be worried about her little princess happiness, security, hygiene and nutrition. She will be scared for you and will have sleepless nights thinking about you. It will spoil here health. Every second of worry will eat her up.Ur father along with your friends will search you in every street of the city. He will forget hunger, work and just think about you every moment. He will have to handle himself, your mom and cops. The police department will ask him uncomfortable questions about you, which a father would never like to her. Every moment is going to be hell for him.Meanwhile, crooked people of Hawaii may kidnap you and force you to beg, get into prostitution, sell you to some rich person, take all your organs and sell it off, or even repeatedly rape you. This all things are the worst things that cab happen with you. I have taken a worst case scenario. If you can't keep your parents happy, don't make them feel bad. It takes a lot of pain to bring you into this world. Don't give them further pain.Never ever make this mistake. I repeat never ever think about it too. The world outside has a cruel side too. Don't get yourself messed up there. Pls don't do any stuff that creates pain.God bless you with all the happiness you need in life.

Running Away at 20 from Home?

At 20 years old you can leave home and do what you want, there is nothing to get into trouble for except you better have a place to stay and something planned because it is not that easy.
Easy to be taken advantage of. You will not get into trouble if you are over 18 there is nothing your parents can do, except you will no longer have health insurance in their name, no longer have car insurance if you are riding on their policy, if you take a car they co signed on or are on the title of they can come and get the vehicle. Becoming an adult on your own is alot of responsibility and you need to have a plan, where to stay, how much it will cost you and a job, unless you plan to be a hobo on the street, most companies won't hire you unless you have a permanent address and phone.
think it through....please and do leave a note, because if your parents think you were taken the police get involved then that could have a nasty outcome and cost your court costs and alot of headache, leave a note and tell them you are sorry but you need space to think and are going to try to go on your own. They won't like it but it is perfectly legal if you do it the right way.

What'll happen if a 25-year-old adult ran away from group home and then fled to another state?

It depends on the laws of the place he is running from and tuning to. Is he a ward of the state? Is he free to go etc. If you provide more info I will see what I can find out.

Best friend ran away to my house???

WOW I hope everything works out for you guys and that you make the right decision and that you both know what you are getting into if you runaway somewhere.

God Bless.

I ran away to my boyfriends house?

if this is a serious question, here is reality, if you are a run away then you and your bf can go to jail. his parents can get in trouble for leaving him alone and having you in the house since you both are under age. if you go to jail then you and your bf will break up becasue you got him locked up! you won't see each other anyway. i have been here!!! go home before you ruin the relationship. talk like an adult to your mom and respect her you and him wont last anyway your to young. if he wants you at his house knowing your a run away then he don't care that you can get in trouble with the law and he don't realize he can get into trouble as well as his parents.
