Could I Have Some Advice On Improving My Fitness

Gym routine and fitness advice for 14 year old?

Hi, I'm 14 and will be starting to go to the gym soon. I want to bulk up a bit(I'm quite skinny), improve my general fitness and ultimately get a six pack. So what is a good workout routine for me? I was planning to go to the gym 3 times a week, would that be enough? Advice on exercises I can do at home and whether I should buy weights would be helpful too.

Also, what changes could I make to my diet to help?

I've launched my fitness brand, how can I improve it and how can I get more traffic?

First of all, congratulations, you just launched a nice looking store, with nice looking products and made a sale, hooray!User ExperienceOn the hero section of your home page I would remove the “inure fitness” headline and leave and increase in size “fitness apparel made for the dedicated”. That’s your value proposition and what’s going to resonate with your audience. On the “bellow the fold” portion of your home page I would create an area for a “featured product”, this should be your leap of faith product, something you want to push, showcase and highlight. Bellow that you can display your categories.MarketingThis is a bit trickier. You need to find a way to talk to your target demographic, this is extremely related to your industry, but here are a few ideas:Answer Quora questions related to Fitness and discretely plug your brand. For example, I’m not plugging anything here, but you already know I offer UX, UI and marketing services.Start a Youtube channel and create content about fitness and fitness lifestyle.Facebook ads are an affordable and efficient way to start doing paid marketing efforts. However I would recommend you getting help from an expert, creating the right ad / landing page combination is extremely important.Congratulations again!

How can I improve my fitness level and my strength as a 14 year old?

Don’t use the gym for getting fit. I only use it for toning. As a 14 year old girl, I keep in shape by doing pushups, situps, crunches, and squatting. You didn’t mention dieting in your question, but I am going to give you some tips.Don’t fast. Fasting can make you very sick at such a young age. You’re body needs nutrients, so don’t deprive it.Once a week there should be a day when you drink only liquids. Smoothies (homemade), water, apple cider vinegar.Yes, you read it correctly. Drinking apple cider vinegar with water on an empty stomach can help you burn calories and lose weight. Get a glass of water and put a tablespoon of ORGANIC apple cider vinegar. WARNING! Rince your mouth with water after to avoid damaging you enamel.Eat Organic foods only! You can do more research if you want, but I’m going to give you a short lesson. Unorganic food is basically poision. Most farms use harmful pesticides and chemicals when tending to their plants and animals. The vegetables and fruits absorb the chemicals and become poisonous. If someone continues eating unorganic food, they could develop cancer and other DEADLY diseases. Oh, and same with meat.(Note how the men spraying the chemicals wear suits to protect themselves. Can you imagine that we eat it?!?!?!)Okay! Now back to exercising! Now I’m give you advice to follow if only you are a girl, since I do not know you’re gender. When following workouts online, only follow it if the instructor has the body you admire to get.Try dancing since this tones your body nicely. If you can, get some lessons in ANY martial arts. I have started Tae Kwon Doe recently and I have seen a lot of positive differences in my body!Do not sit right after exercising since it flattens your butt.Only exercise for 20 minutes a day for starters. You do not want to strain your body. After a month add ten more minutes to your routine. Then the next month 10 more. Etc.Here is my routine:First I warm up for 20 mins. by stretching. Then I warm up some more by dancing for 10 minutes.5 minutes of squatting.Another 5 minutes of holding a squat.5 minutes of pushups.10 minutes of situps. All together it’s 55 minutes. I know. Short. But this is what I try to do daily. To be honest I haven’t been sticking to it well, but I try. The dieting though, I stick to like religion.Best of luck to you!

Which fitness blog(s) (if any) did actually help you to improve your life and exercise quality? How?

I’ll be honest here.I found most blogs tend to have the same information. They repeat what others have and you are not really sure if there is someone there to guide you.You are not sure if the guide is personalized to suit your needs. You want to be heard. You want to know that the author cares about your progress and gains. That is why I created my own blog for strength training advice, recovery tips and general health information.I have been strength training for over 5 years. When I was a teenager, I was overweight. Now, I am deadlifting 405 pounds and benching 225 pounds.I know what is working and what advice could use improvement. I know because I have tried them and used myself as an experiment.I have been injured before. I have trained myself coming back from an injury. But you should not limit yourself to fitness blogs for information. Youtube is what helped me a lot. In fact, one channel that really helped me a lot was Elliot Hulse’s Strength Camp channel. In fact, I created my own channel as well. Because I am confident that I can provide you with helpful information to continue making fitness progress. In fact, here is one video I created about motivation and execution.OVERALLAny blog is good. You just need to figure out what works for you. I am here to make sure you get high quality information, so please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You can leave your questions, comments and concerns here.I look forward to hearing from you.-ACReferences:Elliot Hulse’s Channel

How can I maintain my fitness along with studying?

Fantastic life!Lifting and Learning. It is a great situation to be in.Unfortunately, there are many demands for studying that make it seem as though you have no time for other activities. And for some areas, you really need to put in hours of time to study, just to barely pass. Why am I saying any of this?I was once a student. I was studying for a chemical engineering degree. I remembered studying over 4 hours every night for organic chemistry, only to not get it and to continue trying again the next day.I will be a student again. So, this advice is all that helped me get through with improving my gains.Yes, I said it.I improved my physique while I was in college. I improved my strength when I was in my hardest years of studying.I have been strength training for over 5 year now. And have successfully hit a 225 pound bench press and a 405 pound deadlift this year, thanks to all the hard work I put in all those years.MY ADVICE TO YOU?Make sure you have a plan. Sure, motivation is great to help you feel good. But overall, motivation is worthless. You need to execute to see your goals become alive. So, my first question for you is, what is your workout routine now? Do you have one?If not, I would highly, highly recommend Greyskull LP, a 3 day a week full body workout.Lets get stronger together. Get As and gains all year long.DONE.-AC

How to improve stamina for Air Force BMT?

I just started a few days ago improving my fitness for Basic military training. I'll be entering the Air force on February 14. I have been getting myself back into shape, and right now I am not doing so good in terms of building up stamina. I trained for 2 days with my friend, and took a practice PT test on Saturday and got this.
Pushups: 35 (in 2 minutes)
Situps: 49 (in 2 minutes)
Pull ups: 1 (pathetic...)
1.5 Mile run: 15:00 (my absolute worst)
1 Mile Run (the day before the fitness test): 9:10 ( I worked out two days straight before the test).

I need to seriously improve my fitness, I'm afraid I may fail the fitness aspect of it if I don't get better. I have about 2 1/2 months to improve dramatically. I want to be able to before I get to basic, work myself up to this standard.
Pushups: 55
Situps: 70
Pull Ups: 5
1.5 Mile run: 9:00

what exercises can I do to get myself to that point? What would be an ideal workout schedule for me? should I work out every day, or every other day? I don't want to mess this up, I've wanted to be in the USAF since I was 10, I don't want to get Failure to adapt Discharged.

How to improve my pacer score (aka "beep test")?

The best way to improve running fitness is...running. Find an online training program for beginners planning to run the mile in track and field. The fitness needs for racing a mile and doing well on a beep test are similar enough that if you improve your fitness for one, you should see a lot of improvement for the other.

Get plenty of rest the night before, most young people stay up later than they should. Before your beep test, make sure you're ready to run - warm up with a light jog and a couple of short sprints to prime the muscles.
