I usually like mirroring my iPhone 6S to Smart TV too for enjoying soup opera. Based on my own experiences, there are many ways to mirror iPhone to Samsung Smart TV. Here are the two most common ways that you can have a try.One way is to use Mirror for Samsung TV. You get it for around 9.99 dollars on iTunes store. This requires you to have a stable internet connection. And here is the process for using it.Go to download it from app store and install it on your iPhone.Open it and tap the Samsung smart TV icon. Click “Allow” on your iPhone when you see the prompt on your TV screen.Go to “Settings” > “Control Center”, enable “Access Within Apps”, then tap “Customize Control” and turn on screen recorder. Then go to “Control Center” and enable screen recording function on your iPhone.Another way is to use Lightning Digital AV Adapter and an HDMI Cable. Is it possible to use a tablet as a screen to play xbox 360?

No, Xbox 360 games are not meant to be played on a tablet so I don't know how that would work...
The only thing you can do is use your tablet or phone to control the xbox. I haven't tried it in a game, but I have used the smart glass app as a controller.

The new xbox one will use smart glass more.

If you have had your iPad for over six months, what do you now use it for?

I bought an iPad 2 in 2011 and then a Google Nexus 7 in 2013. I went through phases when I was madly dependent on these two devices, but have now outgrown the infatuation. The Nexus 7 almost completely replaced the iPad right from Day 1. I found the 7" form factor very convenient. The display too was excellent in comparison with the second-generation iPad.My original "justification" to myself, and more importantly to my wife, for buying the shiny tablets was that I wanted to write and those devices would be good for some distraction-free writing. I never got around to writing on either of the devices. They are built largely around content-consumption use cases and that's what I ended up doing with them. Most of my writing continued to happen on my rugged Dell and Lenovo laptops.Come 2014. I've gifted the Nexus 7 to my mother, who has become digitally literate only recently and uses the device mainly to stay in touch with family using Facebook and Skype. The iPad is now full of nursery rhymes --- 7 GB of the available 12 GB -- and is an educational toy to my two-year old daughter. Of course, as finicky parents, we're aware that toddlers that young must have controlled access to technology. However, we see no reason why she should not watch Humpty-Dumpy or Twinkle-Twinkle for 15-20 minutes a day. Another app she absolutely adores on the iPad is Talking Lila. Look it up on Google.I bought a Macbook Air recently and use it for most of my writing, including this Quora post.Do I regret buying the devices? No, since they introduced me to a whole new world of touch-centric computing. However, I must conclude that they did not support the primary use case that'd driven my purchases: content creation.EDIT: I almost forgot to say I've not exactly become an ascetic as far as content consumption goes. I have my Lumia 1020 phone that I find excellent for most purposes. However, my primary use case for buying the phone was the camera. That's a story for another day.

IPad vs. MacBook air?

Okay, so my parents promised me to buy me anything from the Apple store for the end of this school year. Now I have a big problem because I can't decide between iPad and MacBook Air!
I fell in love with the iPad in an Apple store, but my question is, can you have like Windows live messenger and Skype on there? And if you do, can you like talk normally? I type extremely fast and I think it might be a problem for me to type on the small touch keyboard on iPad.
On the other hand, I want to read books from my lap, so I won't have to keep looking straight to the screen.
But for MacBook Air, I want it just because I can like type on the keyboard and stuff. I do a lot of Power Point presentations for school and I also write many essays, so you think MacBook would be better right?
My dad also says, I won't be able to access many websites on iPad because of some flashes or whatever. And how can I watch movies on iPad? I don't have enough money to buy movies on iTunes store or anything like that so I download movies and music from torrent. How could I watch it on iPad then?

I know, a lot of questions, but I really don't know what to do (:

Are rechargeable batteries OK for TV/DVD/Stereo Remote controls? (NiMH or other)?

I used to buy new batteries almost every time I went shopping--then I decided to bite the bullet and try the rechargeables. One of the smartest things as a consumer that I've ever done.

So, to answer your question: absolutely, yes, they're ok. I have been using rechargeable batteries for years, specifically for the five remote controls in my living room. I haven't noticed any battery charge loss whatsoever, and even if that were to happen, it wouldn't be by much--and I always have four spare AAs sitting in the charger, which I quickly just exchange. It's quicker than going to the store--and ridiculously cheaper, in the long run.

Just beware of some of the rechargeable "D" batteries--I read that they actually have the same power as the "C" batteries, just in a larger casing. Make sure you read the fine print. Also, try to get a charger that fits both AAs and AAAs--I had to buy two separate ones.
