What causes stomach ulcers?
One thing ulcers can come from is bacteria. The bacteria can be treated with high dosage of antibotics. There are other things that can cause stomach ulcers. Since you sound young I would def try to go to the doctors asap. Because they will not get better by themself. It is something that needs to be checked out. In the mean time don't eat anything spicy,with lots of acid( soda,O.J,citrus), or greasy. It sounds like you may also have some acid reflux, where the acid from your stomach come up. So you can get Tums for that until you get to the doctor. Don't eat meals soon before you are going to bed, so try not to eat after 7pm. This will allow time for your food to digest. and I know this may sound weird but goat milk will coat your stomach and help with the pain. Don't take advils either because they can cause ulcers to bleed. Take Tylonel or asprin.

No, it's not deadly. He'll be fine. He'll probably get medicine for it, and a list of foods & beverages that he can't drink. :) & his stomach will hurt sometimes as the acid in his stomach will interfere with it or whatnot. Good luck, hope your dad feels better!

Okay, well lately i have been stressing out pretty bad about being pregnant.. And my boyfriend got a stomach ulcer when he was younger from stress, and says i have the symptoms.. or is it a baby developing? Like i have these: Weird acidic feelings in my stomach almost all the time, and they usually go away when i eat. My stomach feels like how it feels after i eat something sour like green apples, and it's below my ribcage. I haven't had sharp pains though. It also feels like it's bubbling sometimes too. And feels like hunger also, sometimes. Another thing was that i had a really loud grumble and my boyfriend heard it and said "yeah you definitely sound like you have an ulcer, because that noise is releasing pressure in your stomach". Could i be pregnant? Or Just an ulcer?? or what? this is GAY.

Milk calms an ulcer. But the only way to heal them is to see a dr and be put on meds for awhile.
Can a stomach ulcer and internal bleeding kill you?
If left untreated an ulcer can do severe damage and can possibly be fatal. As for internal bleeding, he is probably lying. Internal bleeding is a serious thing and i dont think he would be walking around bragging about that.
