Can doctors prescribe me something to help you gain weight?

My son actually has this problem. we have been successful with him taking "boost high protein" drinks they also have "Boost plus" and he does strength exercises cause he is a gymnast. He has put on muscle and weight and now can grow...which his body had stopped doing. the person who said if you sleep less your metabolism will slow down...this is true however not a very good idea. Your body will think it is starving, that's why your metabolism will slow down...and your body will then try to break down your organs which are mainly made of protien...which of course can be extremely dangerous. If you do not put the weight on it can cause infertility...so don't just wait it out; take action now and take it very seriously. Most importantly, see a doctor..or two.

please note it was a doctor who "prescribed" the boost which you can find at walmart, target, kmart, and grocery stores as well...it's usually near the medicines.

Can anyone give me an example of something that weighs an ounce?

I'm trying to send a 9'' by 12'' envelope that can't bend in the mail, so it needs to be listed under packages. But I don't know how much postage will be because I don't know how much a few pieces of paper and a piece of cardboard (to prevent bending) will weigh. Can anyone give me an estimate or tell me something that weighs an ounce?

Is it humanly possible to carry something that weighs more than you?

I remember during spring training for football we had a relay race that involved carrying a team mate from one end of the field to the other (100 yard).I drew the short straw and had to carry one of our offensive lineman, who was 350 lbs (I was a 260 lbs defensive lineman at the time). I can't say I enjoyed it much or moved at supersonic speeds, but I was able to carry him the 10o yards swiftly with him in a piggy back position without feeling like I was going to break. I was also able to deadlift and squat a good deal more than twice my body weightThat's not even considering people who are trained to carry bodies and equipment at the same time (like soldiers) or people who do heavy lifting for a living.So yes, its not too unusual to carry something that weighs more than you.

Someone at work told me I look like I've lost weight, does this mean she thinks I'm fat?

She said "You look like you've lost weight" and I just awkwardly said "Oh really?" and she said "Yes, have you?" and honestly I was shocked, I know this might be a compliment to some people but I don't consider myself fat, I'm not rake thin but I certainly don't look noticeably fat or anything or at least I THOUGHT I didn't but to say something like this to someone as a compliment and then ask me if I know if I've lost weight must mean she thinks oh yeah he's fat and he's probably actively trying to lose weight therefore if he has lost weight he'd know it because he's probably on those scales everyday like wtf? I feel like this is such a rude thing to say someone now I feel like people are thinking I look fat fantastic right well I was starting to feel ok about myself now I have to feel fat too yay...
