Fruit Picking Job IN Cyprus?

The agricultural life is hard in europe. It's going to be a tough job where you work long hours...and they do not care about the legal hours that you are aloud to work. Also they most likely won't pay per hour...but rather by how much fruit you pick over the day.

With that being said...I WOULD TAKE IT! I've been trying to move to europe for a year now..and finding a job is hard even though I am an eu citizen. Even people who live there have trouble finding work. Take the job and get yourself settled...and once you do that you an branch out to a job in your field of work. Europe is amazing. GOOD LUCK!

How can you get a fruit picking job in Australia as a backpacker?

Now this is a question with no easy answer!Yes indeed you can do your 88 days of farm work within 12 months of stepping foot on Australian soil and gain a 2nd year visa. Providing your from a country that can be granted a second visa. There are certain hostels known as “working hostels” dotted around in heavy farming areas. Just like any other hostel, you pay your weekly rent and get a bed in a dorm room. The difference is, that local farmers call the hostel manager when they have some extra work on. It could be a days work for one person, ranging to 4 months work for 20. It all comes down to the area and time of year.Always call ahead, make sure there is some work due to come in, harvest time is roughly the same time every year after all. Some times the managers are not completely honest and will tell you they have work coming in, only for you to travel 2000 miles to get there and there ain’t a single job in the whole place. I saw and heard of many people fall victim to this dirty trick.one other tip: do not leave it until the last minute to you your 88 days, it takes most people 5–6 months to complete theirs.Find out more tips and places to get your 88 days done. Plus times of harvests here:  Farm work Australia - getting your 88 daysI hope this helps!!

Am planning to travel to one of the countries with fruit picking jobs, for example Australia, Canada, on tourist visa, can farmers help me to get work permit, and how can I get a farmer to help me to get work permit?

If you are coming to Australia you cannot legallywork if you have a tourist visa. If immigration believes you are here to work and only have a tourist visa they will not let you into the country. If you are here and working on that visa and you are discovered, you will be deported. Immigration does raid fruit picking areas from time to time. However, Australia does have visas that enable you to vist and work and the government provides a link that might help you get to a farmer. Check the link https://jobsearch.gov.au/harvestIf you are prepared to work hard then you can have a great holiday mixing the harvest and a great deal of travel fun.

Which job should I pick?

I'm 16 and 2 places that called me back after handing in my application were sendik's (grocery store) and jimmy john's (sandwich shop). My dream job has always been an in-shop sandwich artist at Jimmy John's and that is what I was offered. Another store that called me was Sendiks (as a bagger). I completed a phone interview and they called me back a week later to book a follow-up interview. I also just went to my Jimmy John's in-person interview yesterday and I think I did great! They said that they would call me. I really want my job at Jimmy John's but I don't want to turn down the opportunity at Sendiks. What should I do?

If I had to pick between learning Italian or learning Russian, what do you recommend?

I’m kind of biased here. I’m actually italian and I’ve tried studying Russian, but I’ll try to be impartial as much as I can.Firstly, the differences between the two languages are huge. They have different origins and culture. Studying a Language means understanding its culture as well. Let’s start with this.Italy’s not just Dante and Boccaccio. Sure, the literature’s huge and wonderful, you find hints of leftover cultures everywhere. If you’re approaching Italian, you’ll have to remember you’re going to study Standard Italian, the Language you may hear in TV sometimes or in formal situations. Colloquial Italian, well. Sometimes it changes within the same city, and it’s often mingled with the local dialect. And let’s not forget the art. And the theater, if you’re into that. Italy’s colourful, some kind of puzzle. Ah, and we’ve got pizza. And Carbonara. Had to mention this, right?Russian culture is complicated, as different from mine as you can get in this continent. Surely someone who knows more than me will go into details on this one, i’m not going to.Secondly, the grammar itself. I don’t know what’s your mothertongue and which kind of Language you’re familiar with. Italian’s not much about cases at all - that’s Russian, hullo 7 cases. We’ve got more tenses than I care to remember, that’s possibly what’s offputting about the Language. Russian uses the cyrillic alphabet. If you’re Learning for the sake of speaking another Language, I’d suggest to check both and see which one gets your attention the most. If you want to work with languages, meh. I can’t be objective here. Yeah, we’ve got a beautiful artistic past. Yeah, we’ve got food. Yeah, we’ve got little else?Do not forget, Learning a languages takes time and will. You’ll find yourself swearing every other day. I know I did. I didn’t burn my books ’cause I knew I’d regret it, but I did put ’em out of my sight for months at end. It takes time, and it’s not fun until you are able to speak a bit, then you’ll feel awesome. This is the reason why i’m stressing on the do what you prefer bit. If you decided “sure, i’ll study this ’cause i’ll get a job afterwords” when find yourself with something uninspiring for months at end, well. You’ll hate it and you will never manage to speak. My best advice - yes, again - is fall in love with the culture and test the waters, then dig in.Good luck!

Can I get a job without working papers?

I'm 14 and I want to start making money. The problem is, I can't receive my working papers until I'm 16. If you can give me any ways to make money or any jobs I can get besides the usual, "rake leaves and shovel snow," that would be awesome. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated~
