Why do Muslims only eat Halal meat and any other form of slaughtered meat is not permissible?
As a Muslim, we are ordered to slaughter the way we have been though1. During slaughter, we have to mention the name of God (Allah) else, it will not be Halal (Permissible for us to eat) .In Holy Quran, Allah (God) says to us:Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. Animal should be slaughtered with sharp object (knife)The animal has to be slaughtered with a sharp object (knife) and in a fastway so that the pain of slaughter is minimized.b. The ‘slaughtering’ isto be done by cutting the throat, windpipe and the blood vessels in the neckcausing the animal’s death without cutting the spinal cord.c. Blood should be drainedThe blood has to be drained completely before the head is removed. Thepurpose is to drain out most of the blood which would serve as a goodculture medium for micro organisms. The spinal cord must not be cutbecause the nerve fibers to the heart could be damaged during the processcausing cardiac arrest, stagnating the blood in the blood vessels.3. Blood is a good medium for germs and bacteriaBlood is a good media of germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. Therefore the Muslim way of slaughtering is more hygienic as most of the blood containing germs, bacteria, toxins, etc. that are the cause of several diseases are eliminated.4. Meat remains fresh for a longer timeMeat slaughtered by Islamic way remains fresh for a longer time due to deficiency of blood in the meat as compared to other methods of slaughtering.5. Animal does not feel painThe swift cutting of vessels of the neck disconnects the flow of blood to the nerve of the brain responsible for pain. Thus the animal does not feel pain. While dying, the animal struggles, writhes, shakes and kicks, not due to pain, but due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles deficient in blood and due to the flow of blood out of the body.Hope the answer is satisfying.Thanks
Eating food cooked with Alcohol, is it considered Haram?
yes, it's haram. No matter what. Sweetheart, I never drank in my life, and I don't need to, though all my friends drink and my favorite chefs cook with wine. I know that going to heaven is much more valuable than a stupid topping or drink. Also, you can't trust all scholars. I remember a hadith where a prophet said something along the lines "2 judges will be in hell, for every judge that goes to heaven" meaning that just because they're scholars doesn't mean they're right. Some scholars allow tattoos, adultery, gay sex, yet the Quran and Hadith strictly prohibit it, does that mean we should follow them and ignore words of God and his apostle? No. Use your head, it's the same logic, and it is better to avoid anything suspicious. Salam.

Proof that music is haram for those who still deny it.. ?
I might be hypicritcial for saying this, but I agree with u. The reason I say I might be hypocritical is bc I listen to music, but after reading this, inshallah I'll stop. I have seen some evidence from sahih hadiths and scholars that some music is halaal, not like todays kind of music though. I also heard somewhere that when dajjal comes he will come with music and whoever likes music will become his follower. Dont mind these other guys answers, I'm with u 100%.

Why is Music Halal?

And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."[Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol.7 Hadith No.5590] However, there are some Ahadith which indicate that it is permissible to beat the ‘daff’ i.e. the tambourine (which is open on one side and covered on the other).
