To circumcise or not? And a couple more questions?
both of my sons were circumcised after birth, about a day. the dr said the longer we waited the more risk of infection and complication. circumcision will be always what i woul choose. when the man is unable to care for himself, as an infant or during a spell of illness, complications can arise from an inability to clean the penis well. in nursing, i have seen uncircumcised penises which have been uncared for and swollen from infection are horrific looking and extremely painful. i'm sure that any man faced with that circumstance would choose circumcision anyday, if religous preferences don't dictate otherwise. best of luck to you, congrats!! will pray for you
My 5 day old baby wont sleep at night time?
I know he's only 5 days old but you need to try and keep him up during the day for 5 - 15 minutes at a time usually right after you feed him is a good time. Open the blinds in your house and shower that baby with sun light (even if he is sleeping). Your baby is still very young but you need to start teaching him day time is bright/loud and nighttime is dark /quiet. He won't pick it up right away but it's the routine you need to get into, so he will catch on. Babies don't sleep through (6-12hrs) until they are at least a month old usually more like 3 - 6 months old. Sorry to hear about your husband but remind him you two now have a baby and the next couple of months are going to be a little rough but it will be worth it. Good luck.

A doe's (female rabbit) first litter often doesn't survive. Nobody really knows why. At least not for sure. As others have stated, there might be something wrong with it. But some claim it is probably inexperience on the part of the mother. If she isn't feeding it or keeping it warm, there is very little chance it will survive. Though I do know of one case where someone gave a pair of very young orphaned bunnies to their female cat that had recently given birth (frankly I would have been scared she would make a light mid day snack of them) and she went ahead and raised them too. A nest full of tiny kittens and little rabbits all snuggling up together. Cutest thing you ever saw!

I would answer this question very very differently.Just after the baby is born they lose a couple of grams of weight, or at the maximum between 10–15% of their birth weight.This takes a couple of weeks to gain back ( 2–2.5 weeks after the birth of the baby). Do note that every baby is different and gain weight at different speeds; but during the first couple of weeks, your paediatrician is monitoring the baby’s weight quite closely so there is nothing to be worried about.Now after the first 2–3 weeks babies go through growth spurts ( where they need to be fed every 30 minutes or they rest for longer durations) but most babies are able to indicate hunger and need to be fed on demand. We cannot time a baby’s naptimes, mealtimes ( breastfeeding) and the duration of the growth spurt itself. As long as the baby has more than 6 pees in a day, is happy, sleeping well, is active when they are awake ( by moving hands or legs or faces or making some expressions) that means that the baby is happy and healthy. Each baby gains weight as per their growth spurt, percentile and pace.An important thing to remember is to not swaddle the baby during their sleep times because this causes them to sleep longer and ignore their hunger pangs.This is one of the important aspects which we share with new parents; whoever subscribes to our LilliputBox.

A rough wet washcloth moistened with lukewarm water is best and you should do it 4 times a day or the kitten will die of kidney poisoning. When we fostered a teeny little one, he peed maybe 4 times a day and pooped once per day or so. I am not sure what you are talking about. Do you know of a kitten in the wild that’s mother is not present? Did someone give you the kitten or did your cat have kittens and die or get outside? Do you know the kitten’s age for sure. If mom is not present and the kitten’s eyes are not open give it a couple of hours and check again. If she is not back after that time call your local shelter and ask for advice in handling the situation. If you remove the kitten from the nest then you or some other person such as from the shelter or a vet will have to hand rear it and that is a very difficult task. Hand reared singletons of that age only have about a 10% survival rate so if there is a chance the mother is nearby the kitten should never be removed unless the circumstances are dire indeed.If you are trying to hand rear a kitten this young you need to contact someone with experience and get advice and instruction. Barring this there are many sites on the internet that offer this kind of advice but I would only use this as a lats resort to someone giving you hands on instruction.In answer to the specific question of how long the answer is, two to four hours at the outside but their are even further limits on that. The kitten must take nourishment just before you leave it and you need to try to feed it again as soon as possible after your return. Also it must be kept warm while you are gone because kittens this young cannot keep themselves warm particularly if they are singletons.
