My brother is exactly the same. However, over the last few weeks we have improved this. He used to come home from school, go straight to his room and sit on the computer playing minecraft. My mum got fed up of this: here's what she did. When he gets home from school she says he can not go on His Xbox or PC for the whole evening. He then is faced with a whole night being bored soo... He meets up with friends! He is now into skateboarding more and doesn't play it as much. However, it s a very good game and its gets their imagination and creativity flowing! Good luck! Hi, i just got an Ipad mini w/ retina display and i have an ipad 2 and i want to transfer my minecraft pe worlds from the ipad 2 to the mini ipad. I downloaded iexplorer and while trying to drag the stuff from the ipad 2 i added an additional file under minecraft worlds for my ipad mini called minecraft worlds from my ipad 2. Then I put one of my worlds, Wedding Plan, under com.mojang. I cant seem to delete them and i dragged the minecraft worlds file from my ipad 2 into my desktop. My mini is plugged in right now, open to mine craft, and I dont know what to do. I have spent so much time on these worlds I cant lose them. I have looked all over the internet and they make it sound so easy, drag it to your new iPad, I dont know what they mean. Im doing this all on my 2011 iMac. Thx

Yes absolutely! We homeschool mostly offline and hands on, but the iPad is an amazing tool as well! Our absolute favorite has to be Osmo Genius Kit that goes with it though. My daughter just finished preschool and has been using this all summer. She loves the tangrams and math program! What I love most is that it also has hands on pieces my kiddos can use with it, so it’s not zoned out tablet usage… more like learning fun :) Good luck with homeschooling!
