Craigslist emails going into Yahoo trash folder?
If your emails are being sent to the trash folder, this indicates a possible filter has been set up to re-route your message, or an outside email client has been setup to access and retrieve the mail without leaving copies on the servers. Why my new emails goes to trash folder?
All of my new emails goes to Trash folder automatically. I don't know how can I fix it!? I must select all of my new emails in Trash folder and move to Inbox everyday . Because after 2 days my Trash folder is empty automatically. Thank you
Craigslist email phishing scam; WHO SENT ME THIS?
Hey guys, I've been getting spam from certain craigslist emails. Usually it's test@test.com that tells me about my 'recent postings' which I haven't even posted. Well I usually catch it's test.com, and that it's a scam, but this time it came from noreply@craigslist.org but I noticed something else after I got a phishing warning. In the To: column it said: richnorway35@yahoo.com (EMAIL CHANGED FOR PRIVACY REASONS) So, I'm trying to figure out who actually sent this to me so I can get them. Would it be richnorway? Craigslist scam asking for email?
There is no buyer - this is a scammer phishing for email addresses. Do not give out your email address Or if you must, create a completely new account that you ONLY use for Craigslist. Do not have any contacts or important emails saved as they will try to hack that account or send you malware infected links to try and spam your contacts But there is no reason why they can't contact you through Craigslist unless they know their account will soon be reported for scamming and shut down
Is my husband lying? Can a hacker send emails and reply to Craigslist personal ads?
I have recently found some very questionable emails in my husband's account. In his inbox, sent mail, and trash folder, I found messages that said replied as well. He is claiming that someone hacked into his email and sent these messages out to these girls wanting to meet up and this is his first time and some said his name and number. He said these hackers can find out any information that they want etc. including his work and travel schedule. One of the emails stated where he would be out of town on a particular day. I find it so hard to believe him when the proof was right in my face. I have been researching this and would like some input and accurate up to date answers. The emails all got deleted as soon as I said I seen them. Now he claims the hacker did that too. To me a hacker wants to know and figure out your banking account info and social and or send links in your email to get ppl to click on to get a virus. I can't believe how far he has gone with all of this lying. Every question to him has a clever response as to why a hacker would take the time or do this to him. He says his work schedule is out there somewhere on the Internet. Who in the world would go to all this trouble? Why not just be honest with me? At the same time I want answers and need someone to tell me if this is at all possible? Some of the other emails I can see that they could be taken as spam. But not the sent mail. Don't you have to be on a pornography site to start getting these types of Spam?
Craigslist hack (email personal ads)?
I need some opinions here. I have a friend who recently stumbled upon her boyfriends (of two years) email. On the email accound (in the trash folder) were gobs of emails from craigslist about "w4m in it for a good time" ect basically girls for hire ads. If it were just this we wouldn't be concerned (wouldassume it to be spam) however there are what appear to be replies on these emails and the replies contain personal info (phone number, name, and even some photos). These emails appear to go back to the start of the email account 2 months ago and come from seemingly local CL ads. When boyfriend was confronted he seemed genuinely shocked and hurt and has vehnemently denied this going on: claiming it to be a hacker attempt. It seems so unbeleivable yet we want to believe it as he is such a sweet guy who tells her he loves her daily (and we thought was planning to propose soon!). I did a little google of "Craigslist hack email" and came up with some similair results and a few that appear to be exactly the same (with no answers posted though). Oh and by the way all replies appear to be done via a smartphone which is the only thing makeing me think it is possible it is a hack. The pictures are all present on his phone/facebook as well. Some of the words/sentences are a bit out of character as well. Basically I just want opinions here. Please tell me whether you are a computer savvy person or just someone that has run into this before!

There are several possible issues going on here. It could be that you are using a template (bad idea). It could be that you are using Cricket or another provider. It could be that your email provider is filtering/blocking craigslist emails. Start here. https://forums.craigslist.org/?forumID=9 That's the Help Desk Forum. It's "live" since there are almost always volunteers in there. Go there, register a handle, post your question. Be detailed. Check for answers every few minutes, and respond in a timely manner. If you do, there is a good chance you'll have this fixed in fifteen or so minutes.
