Creepy Dream What Does This Mean It Was Enought To Wake Me Up

Strange creepy dream?

my psychology professor told us that if you had a dream where you were being chased or is under a situation where you can't do anything about it then it means you're under a lot of stress. i guess you're stressed out about being abstinent or something. i would suggest don't make a big deal out of it and just relax. don't make that dream a problem and forget about it. it's just a dream so it won't really matter if you forgot about it right?so just relax. go outdoors, to your park or backyard and just listen to calm songs. it might help you get rid of those dreams.

i have nightmare often which are all different. the only thing similar was that someone was trying to kill me and i'll wake up when i already died in my dream. i got to admit i am under a lot of stress with school work and requirements. adding to my problems is the situation with my family and my boyfriend but whenever i tried to calm down by listening to music, the nightmares stop for a few days. and yes, there were weeks where i have nightmares everyday so those few days are very helpful for me.

Why is 3 am such a creepy time to wake up?

Firstly, I don't "know" why we wake up at 3:00 am, but here are some things that I've come across:Your dead loved ones (or one) are visiting you at this time at night. It causes changes in the room temperature, your body feels it and you wake up.I've browsed some forums and blogs and they mention 3:00 am being "a special time" when the spirit activity is the most active.According Chinese medicine's "meridians", our body has certain cycles and waking up at a certain hour can tell us more about the processes happening in our bodies Why You Are Waking Up At The Same Time Every Night Pt1 (there's a chart).1:00 - 3:00 is connected to thyroid and other hormonal gland activity. But waking up at 3:00 am probably feels more spooky than "medical". I will share my experience with 3:00 (that happened tonight).I was dreaming some dreams and then suddenly woke up. It was like opening my eyes white open and looking around in panic, as if someone was in the room. There was no one, but I "knew" this feeling of waking up at 3:00 am. It was "weird". I told to myself: "I bet I can guess the time" (that was before I looked at the clock). The answer was "3:00". When I looked at the clock, it was 3:02 am.A strange thing is that my mother in law, who was sleeping downstairs was awaken at  3:06 am because she felt "cold". She thought it's because of the AC and she switched it off.Our dog always wakes up between 3:00 and 4:00 am. Tonight he cried out at about 3:00 because he was sleeping in the doorway and the door "squashed" his tail a bit, so he let out a cry (my mother in law told me).A year ago or so I remember my mother in law complaining that "someone knocks at her door" at 3:00-4:00 am, but when she looks, no one is there. After that I also got knocks in my bedroom door at 3:00 - 4:00 am for about three nights in a row, but I didn't even bother checking. So there is something about 3:00 am or any other time at night. It can be a belief as well, but it can be a synchronicity as well. To learn more about number 3 symbolic meaning, you could check with numerologists (just numerology meaning of number), tarot readers (Tarot card number 3 is Empress card, symbolizing creation, action and expression), also google "Chinese medicine meridians" and spirit mediums. I think these people could tell a lot more because they specialize in this area.

What does it mean if I laugh in my sleep?

The general term for sleep laughter or talking in your sleep is called hypnogely, which indicates a disruption in REM sleep cycles, although it's generally harmless. When we fall into a deep sleep our body releases hormones that are supposed to keep us still and "paralyzed" if you will, so we don't inflict self harm, but those who experience laughter or talking are directly reacting to dreams we've had, thus breaking the normal cycle of deep REM sleep.Dreams in this case can be funny, or troubling, and we laugh either as a reaction to something humorous or we use it as a coping mechanism. This is one of those random things I know about since I've been accused of laughing in my sleep since I was a kid :)

What does it mean to dream of a centipede?

Ok I had a dream which was casual. I was somewhere and I al of a sudden seen 3 centipedes move down the wall...but for some reason it was scary enough in my dream for me to wake up and screech a little. Any idea's if this means anything. I had another dream that did the exact same thing but it was a wasp that was following me and flew by my neck.

Is it normal to dream that I pee and wake up to find that I really peed?

Hey there. It has actually happened to lots of people and it is termed as false awakening where you think that you’ve woken up and you do the same things as you usually do. That occurs to people especially in a really deep sleep. The mind is sending the signal that the bladder is full but the person ignores it and perhaps is unaware of it. Then, at such a point, the signal is transferred in your subconscious mind and in your dreams.

What does it mean when a voice wakes you up in the middle of the night?

This has happened to me several times. Awake and asleep. The strangest is my children calling mom. In my head I hear one say mom and I instantly know something is wrong. First time was when my now eighteen year old daughter was three and spending the night at her dads. She woke in the middle of the night and got locked out of the apartment. I was ten miles away and sound asleep when I heard her cries of mommy in my head. I tried calling and got no answer so I drive over as fast as I could to find her sitting on the steps with some strange man. I pounded on her father's door and got no answer so I took her home. This has happened often with a voice I dont know saying my name. Kinda creeps me out.

What does flipping pages in a dream mean?

From your details it is pretty simple to work out and if you actually thought about what you just wrote, you have answered your own question.

Life speeding past you, slow times seeming frustrating, being 15 and feeling frustrated and wanting be independent and grown up, in part not getting there fast enough, in part realizing in reality that life is speeding past you and you are already passing your childhood.

Dreams are nothing more than subconscious reflections of your internal emotions.

Can anyone else wake themselves up from dreams?

I can not only wake myself up from a dream, I can completely control what i dream about and how i dream it. I can instantly change my dream from a Florida vacation to an amusement park ride to a dream within a dream within a dream of me dreaming a dream within a dream!
See, most people let the dream reside in their subconscious, but it was only during a scary nightmare that I actually scared myself so much I "awoken within the dream."
I was able to actually make myself look around and close my eyes and even speak.
Before all that happened I tried to control myself within a dream, but it was only at the very last moment, before I woke up, that I could make myself move, and I would be able to keep up the dream and watch the rest, or try to speak or move and wake up.
I eventually got to that part, I was able to control myself in the dream without waking up.
Anyways, once I was able t control myself, I thought about wanting to wake up to the house, and se my parents. And so the dream did change! There I was, in my house, right in front of my parents. Well lets take a ride in the car. Boom. In the car. I then tried to imagine rockets in the sky and fireballs. Anything I wanted, it would happen. Their were only two things that I couldnt control:
1. If I controlled myself too much, I'd wake up.
2. I am unable to lengthen the dream. Although what feel like hour-long dreams last only 4 or 5 seconds, the length of the dream would vary. But i wouldnt just pop up and the dream leaves, it would just kind of fade away, and I can see the blackness of my closed eyes, and they open, and there I am.

Most people think your body physically locks down during sleep, preventing you from moving. but thats were sleepwalking occurs! And some experienced people can sleep and make their body do anything! Even talk!! So theres no limit to what your mind can do. The most advanced genius smart people in the WORLD only use about 15% of their total brain power.
Normal people like me and you use about 6%, but I may be able to use 9%. It is said that your brain can more than double its power output during sleep, because most of the power goes to your brain, as everything else shuts off but the brain still is hard at work, sending signals and runinng memory processes. But the brain does get to relax, sometimes people actually shut down half of their brains, effectively making them do little more than beat your heart.

What does it mean if someones trying to kill you in your dreams?

I'm not a psychologist, but from my experience, you might be doing badly outside with your life or something. It's normal to have weird dreams, and not okay to have no dreams at all. So just relax yourself by having a cool milkshake a day to release stress or go outdoor and play some ball games. Bad dreams often mean you are suspective of things around you and you cannot focus on sleeping. If that's not the case then i guess you are perfectly normal.
