I'm Seeking Military Legal Advice????

Can anyone Help?

my chain of command wants to discharge me from the army because i was caught drinking underage while enrolled in the army's alcohol and substance abuse program. but they are all in the wrong because my NCO's have drank with their underage soldiers before, knowing their underage AND knowing your not allowd to drink with your soldiers or fraternize with them, they also KNOW 2 underage soldiers both bought hookers and possibly caught STD's, 1 of the NCO's has assaulted a private, and that same one said right in front of me after i was caught drinking (i told you i wanted him gone, now hes out)
none of this is allowd, and theres more to it than just that.
basically i have blackmail on my whole platoon, so maybe i can justify the situation

I would love it if anyone whos a lawyer for people in the Military could give me advice. But any is welcome.

Thanks

Topwop.

I would like to seek a legal advice about postdated/bouncing checks..?

a friend of mine borrowed money from me amounting to P3M. She issued a postdated checks, divided the amount into 4 checks. The first check is due on Dec. 15, but she asked me to extend the check. Since the check will be staled on Dec. 20, I'm worried that I won't be able to deposit the check anymore, since it is staled. What do you think is the best way for me to do, since she won't give me a new check in exchange for the old check that's going to be staled next month. I'm worried that she won't pay me.... The bank told me that check is good only for 6 months...how long would it take us if we're going to court? please help! any legal advice would be appreciated.

Seeking an urgent medical advice for my mother?

I would seek medical advice. Are her symptoms new or is this something her DR is aware of? How disoriented is she? Does she know her name? date? where she is? Is she responding at all? Is she comatose? Is she eating? drinking? is she dehydrated? that can cause the drowsiness and disorientation. Is she on pain medication--that can cause drowsiness and disorientation as well. Any difficulty breathing? If I knew more particulars I could probably be more helpful. Do you know what "Mets" mean? If not, iIt means that the cancer has metastasized to her brain--in simple terms it has entered her lymph and spread to her brain. The brain is a common site for the cancer to spread because of the amount of blood flow. Have they talked about it being terminal? have they given you a time frame? Generally when the cancer has metastasized to the brain it is terminal. Just to prepare you if you have not talked the dr about this. Ask lots of questions, be adamant that your Mom receives proper pain control, be there for her even if it is just to sit. The best thing for a person with cancer is human touch, especially from a loved one. In the last stages of cancer your body slowly shuts down . My thoughts are with you.

If I need legal advice, should I seek any answers related to my situation on social media?

The answer to this question is no. One never knows if an adversary is going to look for evidence against you on social media. Assuming one wishes to avoid potholes, it is preferable to exercise discretion about the entire matter. It is more sensible to talk to attorneys privately. There might be an attorney-client privilege in the jurisdiction where your lawsuit will be filed. But social media communications are not privileged. Even if you think it’s no big deal, your attorney might view it differently. If you need legal assistance please contact and hire a lawyer. Before making your choice of attorney, you should certainly give this matter careful thought. The selection of an attorney is an important decision. Results may vary depending on your particular facts and legal circumstances.

What are the disadvantages of seeking professional legal services?

The only disadvantage you have is that you have to pay for what you are getting. The lawyers who advice you on various legal issues and they have to work hard to make sure that the client doesn’t get into any legal trouble. Don’t you think that a lawyer deserves some fee for providing his services? You should be thankful to Quora that I wasted five minutes of mine on giving you an advice without charging a single penny. Otherwise you would not have got even this advice for free. Thanks,Sumit Nagpal Nagpal & Associates, Advocates and Solicitors

Need legal advice concerning harassment by drug dealers threatening family?

A family member has a history of mental illness and drug abuse. She no longer resides in her home where her husband cares for their three children. She got mixed up with another man who, himself has mental illness and drug problems. She recently left him which led to him stalking/harassing her and threatening her husband and children She obtained PFA for herself and children. Update: now unknown "drug dealer" is calling her husband demanding 1500 that my relative owes and has threatened husband, children, and their home (i.e., with arson, vandalism, etc.). Here is the quandary...husband afraid to contact police...feels like this would just "put a mark on him and the children (if it is the "drug dealer" that I know her to have previously been in acquaintance with he is pretty "big time" in our area~a notoriously drug infested area) and yet he, rightfully, does not want to pay them any money. To complicate matters the unstable x-boyfriend may just be paying someone to threaten the husband and my relative as a means of extorting money and getting "revenge".
Any advice, my concern is for the children and husband. I am thoroughly disgusted with my relative for bringing this influence upon her children and therefore, am not currently seeking advice on how to "deal with her issues/addiction". Thank you in advance.

Where can I get free legal advice on copyright issues?

You can find general advice online, for example by looking at our Blog for more answers to your questions! However, if you’re looking for bespoke advice, you are likely going to have to pay some money. Before diving into legal advice on copyright issues, it is really good to know what “copyright” actually is.The term: “copyright” refers to a legal right created by the law of a chosen country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive access for its use and distribution (usually for a limited time).Purpose: copyrighting your original work (i.e. something on which you have expended independent effort to make) rewards you for the creation of it.At first, it might seem that copyrighting is just about the “ownership” bit of your idea but it goes way further than that. Without Intellectual Property (IP), businessmen cannot put their minds to research and subsequent development of their products due to not reaping full benefits from their inventions.Having your new creation in mind, you want others to be legally obliged to pay you if they use what you worked on so hard for such a long time.In general, the same process of securing IP applies to everyone. There are loads of websites, which offer a standard FAQ that gives you a summarised idea of how the process works and why you need it.You have to bear in mind that every creation, every startup, everything you create and secure as your own is different. This means the sequence of actions and documents needed to go through the process has to be tailored specifically for you. For that, you need a lawyer who works for you.Questions about your intellectual property? Whether you should take the necessary legal steps? Schedule a free Startup Legal Session with Linkilawtoday!
