Hairdresser cut my bangs way too short?
Recently, I've been wearing my hair about an inch past my shoulder (trying to grow it out) and frontal fringe bangs over my forehead which usually touch up against my eyebrows. I just got it cut and came home extremely upset; they're now very, very close to my hairline not at all as long as they should be, and it looks stupid and comical on my face. I have no angles or layers right now and so next to my long straight hair, it looks really stupid and I can't even look in the mirror without getting embarrassed. I know all of you will say to wear headbands, pin it back and wait for it to grow-I already know all the tricks-but what I'm wondering is how much going to another stylist could fix this problem. My mom has been trying to talk me out of going to someone else; she's told me that they can cut long layers in my hair to try to disguise the short bangs and make them fit more, but that they won't PHYSICALLY MAKE MY BANGS LONGER, which is what i want, and also that if they don't do the layers right it will be difficult to manage and perhaps look even worse. For stylists or people with experience with this problem-what should I do? If at all possible, I would really like to get this fixed at a hairdresser. What are some possibilities of what a stylist might do if I went to them saying that my bangs are too short? Would they be able to cut another, longer layer over my bangs to disguise that they're so short or will they only be able to work around it to try to make it look better. What are my options? Also, if I DO choose not to go through with it, how long does hair take to grow from a bit below the hairline to past the eyebrows?

Accidently Cut My Bangs WAY Too Short!!!!?
I was warned not to try to cut my own bangs at home by my husband but I did it anyway since I have no time to get to the salon with my son and all. When I was cutting them it seemed liked it was the right length but after I did it they ended up in the middle of my forehead. I have just been pinning them back with bobby pins but I hate how it looks since I have a widows peak. I tried taking the rest of my hair and combing it over the side but you can still notice it really bad. Are there any other things that I can do to style my hair till they grow back? My hair is about shoulder length.
I cut my daughter's bangs too short!?
I'm sure there are other mom's who have done the same thing...my one year old daughter's bangs were starting to get in her eyes. So, I cut them. I really just meant to cut the few hairs that were getting in her eyes, but she was moving and having a fit and I ended up cutting them too short. They're not super short but they're straight across and make her look like a boy. Everyone assures me that they will grow back...but I keep thinking...they took a year to grow...will they take another year to grow longer? Next time, I'll cut them while she's sleeping so I can see what I'm doing. I'm losing sleep over the fact that I cut her hair and wished that I hadn't! Any ideas for making them look better without making them shorter?

My 3year old cut her bangs super short! How do I fix it?
<-----My 3year old cut her bangs super short on one half of her face the other side still has bangs to just above her eyebrows. Her hair is smooth and fine and wont stay in place easily. I have no Clue how to fix it! I'm going to church in the morning with my family and I need someone to give me a tip on how to hide or make look nice this new do. Any ideas?

the lady who cut my bangs cut them too short. i used to have them like lower than my eybrows, but now they are pretty much the same length as them. mabey even shorter. school is coming up soon and im so embarassed. i hate them. when do you think it will grow back again? is there any way to make them grow back faster?
How to fix a bad bang cut?
Ok, this is crucial! How far back on your head did you cut your bangs? If it's not too far past your hairline- here is something you can do! I know going to a professional after you've massacred your hair can be REALLY embarrassing, and you can try this yourself, but considering your performance you may just want to tough it out and see someone! (don't worry I've given myself bad haircuts A LOT) Anyway- What you can do is go back further on your head, bring your bangs down and cut them above your eyebrow. Since you cut it so short, the only way you can hide it is by getting full bangs. The longer bangs starting at the middle of your head coming down will cover the shorter bangs underneath. Once those start growing out your "little bang" should be long enough to pin back. You might not want to do this, but it sounds like one of your only options. Trust me, I've had to this same exact thing over and over. And who knows, you might actually like it :-) Good luck!!!
