Galaxy S3 is one of the most powerful phones to date. - Good battery - Great User Interface - More Ram - More powerful CPU - Bigger screen - Super AMOLED screen (meaning contrast is bang on beautiful) - Turns more heads than an iphone 5 - Very strong gorilla glass (so it's harder to break then a iphone, it can take a pounding) - ALOT of customisation. So many widgets to use. - App store has MILLIONS OF APPS!
Is there an Android equivalent of the Cydia App "Activator"?
I just hopped off the Apple bandwagon and bought the Galaxy S3 (which I'm much more happy with). I had jailbroken my iPhone and had Activator installed, mainly so I could use the volume buttons to control my music (Play/Pause, Skip, etc). Is there an app like that for Android? I'll root my phone if I have to.

Disadvantages:Warranty will be void. This is subjective to the phone model and except in some extreme rare cases, you cannot get it restored. Mostly with new gen phones.You shouldn't meddle with any files that are not in the samsung file manager unless you really know what you are doing.Advantages:the phone is now yours. As in, yours to do with as you see fit. You can change system files, push new version of samsung apps (this is possible without root in some cases as well) and remove the crazy annoying ones that you do not need permanently or temporarily.
