I’ve come to realise that this is more of a problem as you get older. For some reason your stools become loser and leave more behind which takes a lot of cleaning up, usually not fully. The trick here is to empty your bowels first thing in the morning, have a good wipe with paper towels, and then finish of in the shower by moving the shower head over the affected area and rinsing well first. You can then lather up all over as normal, including down below, and rinse your body a second time. Another thing you can do is to cut down on your sugar intake, and don't eat too much fibre.
