David Is In The Commentary Box Should He Pad Up

What are some boxing matches/spars that I can watch that will educate me to be a better amateur boxer?

I don't know your level of ability or experience, so this list will be general. These are matches that I like to watch and what follows are the specific things you can get from them no matter what your level. David Tua vs Ike Ibeabuchi: Ibeabuchi was an underdog in this fight but came on to handle David Tua his first lost. He did this by being incredible active with his jab and playing excellent defense against Tua's power shots. Great for studying general defense ideas.James Toney vs Iran Barkley: You wouldn't know it at first glance, but Toney was the challenger. He chopped Barkley up in what is regarded as a truly artist performance in boxing. There isn't much you can't learn from this fight. I would recommended watching this fight to see how Toney throws combinations and punches in bunches. Toney NEVER throws a single shot. Everything is at least doubled up. For advance work, you can learn a lot about balance watching Toney.Mickey Ward vs Arturo Gatti 1: Round 9 of this fight might be the greatest display of heart and will power ever. This is the fight that will teach you what it really means to be a fighter. Ward was the underdog but earned a decision victory. Watch this fight to see how to be a man in a boxing ring. Evander Holyfield vs Riddick Bowe 1 and 2: Holyfield loses the first one and wins the second one. This is a great fight to watch to see how size doesn't really matter if you can fight. Holyfield gave up 40 lbs to Bowe and put on a hell of a fight. Another fight that highlights the importance of the jab.Corales vs Castillo 1: This is the best tutorial you can watch on how to fight on the inside. This fight was won and lost by the better body work technician. That's a great list to start with. There is a lot to learn in those fights no matter what your level is.

Has anyone ever used blinq.com?

Thanks for the BA on your other question about Blinq. I won't bother reposting that information here.

Blinq also sells through Amazon and Ebay so you can see the feedback from buyers who have used those portals. It appears that the company addresses complaints and resolves problems quickly.

Pricing on Blinq's main site appears to be about what I would expect for the items offered.
