Death Note. What Do You Think About The

About Death Note rule # 31...?

"The number of pages of the Death Note will never run out."

I've been wondering... how exactly would that seemingly basic Death Note "rule" manifest?
All Death Notes were once owned by shinigami, correct? So all of the names that they wrote, and the names that any posessed humans may have written, are all in there. That is a lot of names. Crackpots like Mikami are filling an entire page per day! So if the pages never run out, and the Notebook isn't getting visibly thicker, what is being deleted?

What do you think of Kira's philosophy from the Death Note? Do you think eliminating bad do-oers will eventually eradicate all evil?

Kira's philosophy is extremely brilliant in theory and fundamentally flawed in execution.Brilliant in his belief that eliminating evil will create a world where no crimes are committed and everyone will treat each other with kindness.Fundamentally flawed in the sense that he was naive enough to believe that he could achieve this without converting himself into true evil. WARNING: ANIME, MANGA, MOVIE SPOILERS AHEAD.Why do I say he's evil?  In the anime and manga he kills countless innocent people and 12 FBI agents.  He even manipulates beautiful newscaster Kiyomi Takada into falling in love with him and kills her by making her light herself on fire after she serves his purpose.  In the first movie he gets former FBI agent Naomi Misora to "kill" his own long-term girlfriend, Shiori Akino in order to clear his name and gain access to the Kira investigation team without raising suspicion. In the second movie he writes his own father's name in the Death Note.  Enough said.I agree with Kira's initial intentions as we live in a world where justice is not always served and karma is not always evident.  Honestly, there are a lot of people in this world that we would be far better without.  But do I think that slowly eliminating evil will ultimately eradicate all evil?  No.  Like it or not, evil will always exist as long as we are humans.  One evil dies, another evil emerges; in this case Kira.  Does anyone remember the one scene from the anime where a police officer is interrogating a young man who committed a petty crime, and he is crying and begging the officer not to publish his name and face?  That's most likely what the world would be like under the Kira rule - there would be a few that blindly worship him but the majority would live in fear and paranoia, wondering when they or someone they love will be executed for something they did, regardless of whether it was an actual crime or not.It would only work if the Death Note owner is a selfless person with an unfaltering sense of justice, but most likely anyone with that much power will eventually let it go to their heads.  We are not Gods, after all.Death Note is a definitely a fun concept to think about, but I for one am glad that we live in world where no such weapon of mass murder exists.

What do you think of Death Note?

Death note is a good series. It has good story line, memorable dialogues, good animation which gives chills at the times, good music, and twists which keeps you on the edge of the seat. However all those are subjective and everyone may not like it. In my opinion it is not as masterpiece as people claim it to be. I have one rule before declaring any anime as masterpiece i.e. give it a little time to sink in. We usually start noticing flaws after sometime. My biggest pet peeve with the this anime is character development. Light Yagami stared using Death Note with the good intentions but devolves into the character who thinks he is God and whatever he is doing is correct. I personally believe human beings have more values than that. Personally I would have preferred to have more complexity into his personality. There are no complex emotions shown in the anime. Characters are usually one dimensional and there is no dilemma in their decision. Most of the time anime feels like a chess gameThat being said I will still recommend Death Note to any person new to anime because lot of thought that went into the story and creating complex situations. I partially agree with OP that it may feel like some situations are exaggerated but those are also justified at some point or the other later in episodes.

What do you think of Light Yagami's way of using Death Note?

I think he used the death note in the most idealistic way possible .I would like to point you the reasons which support the above statement:-He didn't use it for personal gainHe didn't use it to take revenge on anyone ( if you say but Rhytham he used it to kill L , I would say hell no he didn't kill L for his personal revenge he killed L so he can easily punish criminals to longer extent )He had everything loving family , good complexion , good personality , athletic skills , intelligent brain and most of all girls . Then why would he go on and sacrifice his precious time for something so petty ( well most of the people doesn't seem to take crimes seriously these days) but he sacrificed all of that just because for a peaceful society .Well the three points I mentioned above is a single point . I thought in order to explain better I have to expand the 1st point .Any type of comments and suggestions are welcome .Thanks.

Death note anime astrology? What do you think?

It's been a while since I've seen that anime, but....
I would say you're pretty spot on with Light and L.
Light to me seems like he would be venus in Aquarius due to the way he acted towards Misa and that other girl..(right?) if I can remember clearly.
Mars in Pisces sounds right because he had very strong ideals. Which is a strong trait with that Mars placement.

L SCREAMS Scorpio. His look, his personality etc. But Capricorn moon can be argued. He seemed more Aquarius moon to me, because of his originality and quirky habits. Venus in virgo? maybe...but, I wouldn't say venus in Scorpio but, there could be a possibility...I wish I could remember this excellent anime more clearly to be more accurate, but since no one else answered this question, I wanted to express my opinion.

Misa is definitely a water sign...I would've thought Cancer sun though, but again I haven't seen this anime in like 4 years and I remember it was completely Epic!

I think I'll re-watch it again and get back to you with a more detailed analysis of the main characters.
It was such a great anime, worth another watch for sure!

Do you think that Light Yagami (Death Note) was right?

Logically speaking Light Yagami was right, practically speaking Light Yagami was wrong. There are many logical solutions that would easily take care of problems all around the world, such as the Chinese government’s decision to enforce the one child policy because that was the most logical thing to do, however it back fired and created an imbalance in the male to female ration and a large percentage of population comprised of people around retirement age which put a lot of pressure on the younger generation. It was logical to enforce a 1 child policy but not necessarily practical.Light Yagami’s execution of criminals seems practical as it cuts down the number of criminals however in the mean time it undermines the laws and the justice system that governments have put in place. If one were to indiscriminately kill criminals people will twist the meaning of criminal and take advantage of it.So logically speaking Light was right, you cut down the number but practically he was wrong.

Do you think that Light Yagami from Death Note is an introvert?

Well, Light Yagami is certainly a very interesting protagonist, isn't he? I think to call him an introvert would be misleading. Yes, he does not generally confide his plans to those around him like, say, Ryuk or even Misa, but he does that all for his goal of a "better world". When they show glimpses of Light's school life, or even his college life, he's not portrayed as an introvert. Remember that speech he gave on his first day in college, along with L? Not introvert material.Even while in the task force, he was open and was very comfortable talking to his colleagues, most of whom were senior to him. I wouldn't go so far as to call him an extrovert, but he definitely isn't an introvert.
