Defacing Real Places In My Novels.

Why do black people and even white people try claiming the Ancient Egyptians!?

They were NEITHER. They were ethnic North AFRICAN.

blacks come from sub-Sahara Africa, not above the Sahara.

They had tan skin, caucasian features, dark hair, eyes. They look like Egyptians today

some of you people don't have a clue. black people, stop trying to claim ancient egypt. your ancestors are from west africa anyways, im north african

Are reading actual books better than digital books?

110% better. One of the greatest things about books is the ability to take them everywhere. Rain or shine. Rural or suburb. Hiking or on the couch. The feel of books is intoxicating. You can run your fingers over the pages, fold over a corner, feel how you are so close to the final pages.Books don’t lose battery. Books don’t shut off right when you’re about to finish the chapter.Books are fragile. Books are, “handle with care”. But, books are strong with their cover personality and jackets. The smell of books is something you can only experience when you have one in your grasp. They aren’t limited. They stay with you.To truly experience a book is to just be one with it- no low-battery sign, no clock to tell you its late, no chance of ruining it if you drop it.Hold a physical book in your hand- and experience it. Whether it be rain or shine. Rural or suburb. Hiking or on the couch.

How do i prevent my writings from being stolen?

yeah as the question says i would like to know how to make sure my writings and stuff wont be stolen should i post them on a writing site and what not. ive always been apprehensive about it. how would that type of thing happen? is it a simple copy and paste job or does something else happen? im not even sure it could happen but im still paranoid about it because of all the thoughts and work i put into my stories...so yeah id appreciate it if you told me how to prevent that type of thing from happening and if you know any good writing sites so i could post my stories and get feedback...thanks.

What do you think about the forbidden act?

Which one?In a Sikh Gurdwara (temple), it is forbidden to turn the soles of your feet towards the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs. This seems harmless to me, but is considered highly offensive by Sikhs. What do I think about it? Well, it’s not difficult to observe, so I would go along with it if I ever got the chance to visit one.Or do you mean drinking out of the font in a cathedral? That’s definitely frowned upon too. It’s meant for baptisms. I’ve never had a problem observing that rule.Defacing Qurans? Personally, I think the death penalty is too extreme, but I wouldn’t intentionally deface a Quran, knowing that it upsets people.Turning left from the right lane? Just common sense.

Batman - Most favourite villain?

YOU EVEN HAVE TO ASK??

THE JOKER OF COURSE....

That psychotic goofball was always ol' Batsy's number one foe. NO ONE could keep the Joker down, not even pointy-ears himself....

What way do you read books, do you use a Kindle or prefer some other way to read?

Buying a Kindle was one of the best decisions in my entire life.I used to carry at least one book with me wherever I went. I needed a large bag, wrecking my back and my shoulders.I used to have an ever-expanding bookshelf, worrying where to put all the new books.Reading in a foreign language and using a dictionary to look up unfamiliar words used to be a hassle.Reading in the dark used to be impossible unless I had an additional source of light.Reading while lying in bed is way more comfortable with a Kindle.I can buy new books anywhere at any time and access them instantly as long as I have internet (and as long as I can afford the books). When I’m travelling, sitting on a train in the middle of nowhere, I can just spontaneously decide that now it’s the best time to buy this book that has been on my to-read list for a while so I can read it on the ride.I am not restricted to books that are published in print. I read a lot of fanfiction (and many authors will upload their works as pdf or mobi files), or other books that are only available as ebooks. When I’m having a heated discussion about Harry Potter with someone in meatspace, I can easily pull any primary source material out of my bag and provide textual evidence to support my point :P

I will be traveling from Chicago to Riyadh in October. I've never been outside the country. What should I do/know before I leave?

Don't expect all Saudis to speak English but don't worry as you will be served by foreign workers in restaurants, cafes etc.; all jobs at lower levels are occupied by Filipinos, Indians, Pakistanis and other Arabs.Be warned the entire country shuts down (all businesses close down) at the five pprayers which last for 15 min each.If you have to interact with women, be exceptionally polite as they have to be treated with dignity here, they may also be given preferential treatment in some places.Try not to bring any books which have photos of women ( I remember defacing  the front cover of my novels), there is a slight chance that they may be confiscated.Do eat the local food, it's tasty Saudi Arabia does not permit the consumption & sale of alcoholDon't imagine Saudi as a country with terrorists lurking everywhere, it's safer than many places in Europe & North America. And lastly, enjoy your time here! :)

I just bought Kindle. I am a lover of paperbacks. It's kind of hard to get over them. How do I embark upon this journey of reading books on Kindle?

Same PINCH!! , I'm also a paperbacks lover, switched to Kindle two years backReasons-Take Martin Luther King with you on walk, bus stand, market, parties- Imagine great people like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk are accompanying you on a walk, in office, in the party. One can have access of all legend’s wisdom, all the time. Kindles makes it possibleUrge for motivation - Just like a smartphone, one needs to recharge one's battery one-two time in a day. If you are feeling low, just take out your Kindle and read few pages. Battery recharged!!!!Re-reading inertia is no more - Legends recommends, reading a book multiple times to understand most of it. Kindle makes re-reading a fun and easy, through notes, highlights.Need to show off - I know many peopel who are book collectors, not reader/lover. They are just collecting books to fill their bookshelves and just to show off intellectual status. A kindle lover doesn't need to waste money on such things to validate his love for books.Instant gratification- Your favourite writer's book launched at 10:00 a.m. You can purchase and read it at 10:01 a.m., No more courier boy waiting to get a paperback.Happy READING !!!!!

Can you write me an essay about Oliver Cromwell?

Normally, I wouldn't give a "thumbs up" to a wikipedia cut-and-paste, but I loved Prodigy's ending twist! :)

You know, I could have easily written a page or two about Cromwell. It's entirely an easy topic with many, many resources.

But, since I don't enable cheaters, my answer to you is ...

Yes I can write one, but no I won't.
