Delete All Configuration And Saved Game Files

How can I completely delete programs and ALL their files on PC?

“How can I completely delete programs and ALL their files on PC?”By ‘PC,’ I presume you mean on Windows. If you’re asking about a program that is already installed: The first step is to remove the program through the Add/Remove Programs app under Control Panel.Next, you need to find the program’s install folder - usually under Program Files or Program Files (x86) - and delete it and its contents. Then, you may need to look under Common Files under the program files directories for folders that relate to the program in question, and delete them as well. You’ll need to run the Disk Cleanup utility (Windows Explorer; right-click on your C: drive; click Properties; click Disk Cleanup next to the pie chart) and select, at a minimum, “Temporary Internet Files,” “Setup Log Files,” “System error memory dump files,” “System error minidump files,” “Temporary files,” “Thumbnails,” “Per user archived Windows Error Reports,” “System archived Windows Error Reports,” and “System queued Windows Error Reports,” then click OK.You’ll also need to search through and delete any keys in the Registry related to the program you want to uninstall. Typically this simply means searching for the name of the program and/or its install directory path, but it could get more complicated if the program also registered some DLLs or file extensions. As a final step, you should consider using a program like CCleaner to look for orphaned files and Registry entries.Needless to say, if you’re not very Windows-savvy, those last two steps are not for the faint-of-heart. Proceed at your own risk, and where possible proceed with a good filesystem backup and a good system image. Things can go horribly wrong very quickly. However… If you’re referring to being able to completely uninstall a program that you haven’t installed yet, you should first install an install tracker such as Uninstall Tool. Programs like this watch for changes in the system - such as those that occur during the installation of a program - and log them to a database. When you want to remove said program, instead of going through Add/Remove Programs, you uninstall through the tracker. It is pretty much guaranteed to remove every last trace of the program in question.Best of luck.

What happens if I delete the "your system configuration" off my ps2 memory card?

That's just the system settings on your PS2, any system changes you may have made will be erased and reset. It loads the system preferences from that file. So any system options changes will be lost.

You can still watch movies, play games, and all that, but just again system option changes will be reset. It will just be re-loaded back onto the card.

Where can i find save file location in Driver:Parallel Lines?

You never told us which version you using weather it's the PC, Wii, PS2 or XBOX version so instruction will vary from console to console.

So I'll give you the standard details. If these don't work consult your manual as I said I don't own this game on every console only pc and xbox.

you'd use Esc (to get to the pause menu)
then you'll go to profiles
then you'll be able to go to either save profile, load profile or delete profile. You'll want to go to save profile and save what ever you want.

After reading your question again you mentioned location... so you must have the pc version and want to find were the save files are located.

The saved files location is located in "My Documents" ---> "My Games" ---> "Driver: Parallel Lines" all your save game and configuration files can be found in there.

Hope this answers your question.

How do I delete all user data and files on my Windows 10 PC without reformatting?

The way I usually do this, is to make a new local Admin user account, then logout of your current user profile, login to the new account, and delete your account. This process looks complicated, but only takes about 5 minutes to do.This keeps any software installed, but deletes all information related to your profile. To do this:1)Click Start -> Settings -> Accounts -> Family & other people -> Add someone else to this PC -> Add a user without a Microsoft account2)Enter a new name to use for the user name, and then select Next.3)A new User has been created, but it will be a Standard user, not an Admin user:4)To change the User type, Click on the user in the red rectangle, then click Change account type:5)You will then see this:6)Click on Administrator, then OK.The account is now an Administrator.7)The next step, is to logout of your current user profile. To do this, press Ctrl + Alt+Delete, and click Sign out8)Then, click on the new account you just created, and sign into the new account. This account will take a minute to setup, as it will create the basic settings and desktop for the new user profile the first time you sign in.9)Now you need to go back into User Accounts again:Click Start -> Settings -> Accounts -> Family & other people10)You should see your account listed in this window.Click on your account, then click Remove, and your data will be deleted, but you will be left with the new user account you are currently logged into.

I'm using epsxe emulator, but I can't figure out how to erase saved game data from the memory cards, Help?

With my previous experience, i usually create another virtual memory and use it. And if I remembered correctly there should be a save states and load states command if you hit the esc key and click on the "file" command. That is a much easier saving and loading function as you can save it anywhere and anytime during your gameplay. And it does not use you virtual memory card, it is an external data created.

You can physically delete your virtual memory card by going to your emulator folder and find the file. By doing so you are removing all data in that memory card, and you are required to create another memory card if you do not have anymore card for usage.
