Dell Inspiron 17 3737 Bluetooth Problem?

As the title says, I have a Dell Inspiron 17 3737 Laptop. I just upgraded to Windows 10 today but have been having problems with the Bluetooth ever since I upgraded to Windows 8.1. I have a Bluetooth speaker that takes a very long to connect to my laptop (involves a lot of clicking and waiting). I also have a an iPhone which won't connect at all. It just seems that the Bluetooth wants to make a connection but is struggling. When I had Windows 8, the Bluetooth worked flawlessly and everything I had connected.

I tried downloading several Bluetooth drivers but I was getting the same or similar results. I tried downloading one Bluetooth driver but it told me that I needed to turn on the "wireless Bluetooth switch" or something like that. I don't even know where that is.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem or knows what specific type of drivers I need to install for my laptop, it would be greatly appreciated.

How do I turn on Bluetooth on dell inspiron 3541 with windows 8.1?

Just go to the device manager and access the Bluetooth devices and see if you have a radio button that will help you switch it on. Else, type in bluetooth in the search bar and open the bluetooth setting and you should be able to turn on bluetooth from there.

How do I fix a display colour problem in a Dell Windows Vista laptop?

What sort of problem ?

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series with Windows 8, why am I having problems?

I have a Dell Inspiron 7537 with Windows 8.1, and I'm not sure if the issue is with the computer, or with the software, or both.

I have problems connecting to my home wifi network. When I return home after connecting to my school or home network, my laptop will not connect to my home network. It will show that there are networks available, but when I try to click the Network Center nothing comes up. When I try to connect manually, I get an error message and when I Troubleshoot Problems it asks me to plug the computer into an Ethernet cable. After restarting my computer, everything connects automatically and works fine, but it is frustrating to restart my computer every time I come home.

Additionally, I keep getting error notifications about my batter or AC adapter. I got a notification that said my battery needed to be replaced immediately, and that the computer would shut off when unplugged. Immediately following, I got an error message that said my AC adapter could not be recognized. Both the battery and the charger came with the computer, brand new, about a month ago. The battery still holds a charge, and the charger still works, but I continue to get error messages periodically.

I have took my laptop to Best Buy (where it was purchased) after getting a blue error screen, and the Geek Squad ran a diagnostic and said the only problem was that my software needed to be updated. I updated all the software, and these issues are still present. I also ran a diagnostic from the Dell website, and the results were fine.

Has anyone had these issues? Is there any way to remedy them? The problems are not awful, just inconvenient, and it worries me that my brand new laptop is already showing signs of malfunction.

Dell Inspiron 620 with Windows 10 having issues with USB connectivity.?

I have a Dell Inspiron 620 which was originally a Windows 7 machine, and upgraded to Windows 10 about 4 months ago. Machine is about 4-5 years old and has been working without problems until just a week or two ago.

Came home from work one night and found my mouse and keyboard were not working. Played around with rebooting and unplugging/plugging the USB dongle. This did not resolve the issue.

At one point during a reboot the computer started smoking from the power supply, so I shut it down and ordered a new power supply.

After rebooting with the new power supply, still no luck with the USB or the mouse keyboard.

Uninstalled the Logitech set point software, as well as all other related programs. Still not luck after reboot.

Installed a BIOS update, as well as chipset update from the Dell support site. Still no luck.

I am able to log into the computer via VNC, and everything seems to work normally with the exception of the USB ports. The ports are getting power because when I plug in my phone, it starts charging. However, the computer does not recognize my phone, or the USB dongle for the mouse and keyboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

0xc0000428 error on Dell computer with Windows 8.?

I bought my computer from Dell in May. About three weeks ago I started the computer and it was in a constant restart never loading the desktop. I reached out to Dell and they sent a tech to replace the hard drive to fix the issue. After the tech left I received the error message 0xc0000428- Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. I called the tech and he said that I had to call Dell. So I called Dell and spent over an hour trouble shooting with the outcome of needing another tech out to replace the motherboard. Tech came out this morning and replaced the hard drive again.. I told him that it was a brand new hard drive and Dell said I needed a mother board. He looked at the order and they had it down as hard drive.. UGH so here I am again same message and I'm so frustrated with Dell right now. Is there anything I can do on my own? I honestly don't have the time to spend trouble shooting with them and waiting over a week for a tech to come out.

I own a Dell Vostro 1450 and am using Windows 8.1 with almost no issues. Since the day I joined CSE I have wanted to run OS X on my laptop. How can I do that?

You can install Hackintosh on your PC but remember every PC is not compatible. The latest version of it is OS X mavericks. First check whether your laptop is compatible or not. You can do that by following Hackinstosh Compatibility guide here. Can I install OS X on my PC? Read this first. If it's comapatible there are some excellent guides on installing Mac on a PC. You can find the list of installation guides here.Installation GuidesHope this helps. :)
