Democrat Guys If The Choice In 2016 Is Between H. Clinton

Was Hillary Clinton "owed" the Democratic nomination?

Look, I'm not bashing Hillary because I'm huge Hillary Clinton fan, but why do Republicans think she was "owed" the nomination when they weren't going to vote for her anyway?

People keep saying Obama got the nomination because of his skin, yet these same people will say "Obama isn't even black, he's half-white." Wow.

Clinton and Obama were neck and neck with the black vote up until the SC primaries, when Bill made those "controversial" remarks. And another thing, Obama got most of the white vote in Iowa. I guess you forget that huh? Those whites in Iowa must have dranked the kool-aid too then huh?

Think about it. There aren't enough blacks in the Democratic party to get Obama the nomination. If that were the case, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have been nominated. You may not want to face it, but blacks DID NOT get Obama the nomination OR get him elected.

Should Jim Webb be the Democratic nominee for 2020?

I've been telling liberals that he's the only democrat that can beat Trump. He's a ex Marine and Combat Veteran and has considerable political experience and is more centrist in political views, he's not Extreme on either side. He's far more qualified to be president than Hillary could ever hope to be, Hillary had her chance twice. She's a failed candidate.

If the Democrats nominate Joe Biden, won't that end up as Hillary Clinton 2.0?

It would be a game of chicken. In said circumstances, similar to the past, the narrative will be “we can not afford 4 more years of Trump”But…. if you are a wealthy democrat … whether Biden wins or loses… you are going to be fine…. Maybe even better…Similarly if you are a long standing democrat politician…Biden wins or loses and you probably will be fine. Now say you switch that to Bernie…Bernie wins and wealthy democrats will lose wealth. Major donors such as the pharmaceutical companies will lose money. And now your democrat politican will lose donors or have donors contribute to the person running against them. And that is why they want BidenBecause win or lose - the important people win with him.

Who would Hillary Clinton likely choose as a running mate if she gets the Democratic nomination as expected?

It depends on what she feels she needs to augment her candidacy. Let's look back at a few past VP candidates. Each represents a different type of Veep that Hillary could be going for.1) Paul Ryan- Romney picked him as a governing partner, and he was also from a swing state. Possibilities along these lines include VA Senators (and both former VA Governors) Tim Kaine and Mark Warner, or former VA Senator Jim Webb. Non-Virginians could include Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet or CO Gov. John Hickenlooper. Not from a swing state, but former Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick would fit this category also.2) Joe Biden- Obama picked him to shore up an area where he was weak- Obama was a first-term Senator with little experience. Not a problem that Hillary is going to have.3) Sarah Palin- was largely picked as a youthful counterbalance and because she was a woman. For this type, let's look at young, non-white candidates to balance out the 69-yr old Hillary. New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, HUD Secretary Julian Castro, and Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro are her main options here.4) John Edwards/George H.W. Bush- the also-rans to John Kerry and Ronald Reagan, respectively. Selected to "bring the party together" after they ran well in the primaries. Options here are Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley or Webb. 5) Jack Kemp- a conservative who helped balance out Bob Dole, a moderate. Hillary could selected a notable progressive, such as Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, or Minnesota Senator Al Franken.6) Al Gore- Bill Clinton selected another forty-something Southerner to "double-down" on his change message. In Hillary's case, she could achieve this by selecting a female vice president. Her best option here may be Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, with other options including New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan and Warren.I realize that was a lot of names. I think her top 5 options, in no particular order, are:VA Sen. Tim Kaine (swing state governing partner)HUD Secretary Julian Castro (Hispanic counterweight)Former MD Gov. Martin O'Malley (also-ran/progressive balance)MN Sen. Amy Klobuchar (double-down/progressive balance)Former MA Gov. Deval Patrick (governing partner)

Why do so many people hate Hillary Clinton?

For every person who "hates" Hillary there is probably one who "loves" her. People in the public eye, especially politicians, are going to be extremely controversial. In a country of almost 300 million people, with almost 300 million different opinions about everything, ANY prominent person, especially if she acquires fame or wealth through marriage, is going to attract (unfavorable) attention to herself and her more prominent supporters.

The fact that Hillary (and many of her supporters) have often gone out of their way to offend and antagonise critics certainly adds fuel to the fire (remember her remarks about being "co-President" and "not staying at home to bake cookies..."

On the whole, Hillary Clinton hasn't been criticised, attacked, or publicly demeaned any more (or less) than other people in her position, and I suspect that, like them, she gives as good as she gets.

Of course, and this is true of politicians everywhere, Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. There IS a lot about them to hate, despise, and ridicule!! Hillary (and Bill) are certainly no BETTER than the average run of public official infesting the governments that misrules us. Most of the criticism and revulsion simply reflects this. If you doubt this, look at the last election, and how it clearly showed public outrage at Americans being lied to about Iraq by STUPID and his Republican stooges! Feminists and Democrats are certainly not the only ones in the firing line.

I hope that my answer gave you a little perspective on Hillary-hate.

I would rather live in a country where politicians, media celebrities, and high level bureaucrats and Judges ARE subject to unrelenting and (sometimes even unfair) scrutiny and criticism than one where everyone just obeys orders, and even worse, slobbers over and worships those cretins. How about you??
