Dentist Suggests Cosmetic Dentistry. I Spend A Week Without A Front Tooth Because The Temp Put In

From a dentist’s perspective, you should not smoke anything if you want to maximize the implant’s success rate as it integrates with the bone.  All smoking product (tobacco, marijuana, vape, etc.) have ingredients that are vasoconstrictive (constricting blood vessels, therefore limiting blood flow).  This is why smokers have higher rates of high blood pressure, gum disease, etc. I assume you didn’t get the implant for free and you didn’t lose the tooth by choice, so why do you want to jeopardize your investment by smoking? I have several cases that I’ve placed where the implants failed due to smoking.  Who do you think should pay to remove the failed implant and place a replacement? Is the replacement procedure going to be easier now that the bone in that area is no longer ideal?  Only you can decide which is more important, enjoy the temporary fix that weed gives you, or lifetime use of that implant. You may not be able to get both.

I had my dental implants done in Mumbai in 2016. The whole process took 3 trips to India and I STILL ended up saving thousands of dollars compared to what I would have spent, had it had the procedure done here (in Australia). Note that this is a traditional implant, not immediate loading implants. My specific situation was related to a baby tooth that just never came out by itself in my youth and stayed there, which led to the permanent tooth growing out of its usual place. This meant both of them needed to be removed and replaced with an implant.Stage 1: Both the baby tooth and the permanent tooth was removed. Unfortunately, as planned, the implant could not be inserted at the same time as there was not enough bone left after the extraction. So instead, a bone graft was inserted.Stage 2: After 4 months, I returned to India and there was enough bone at this stage, so the implant was inserted. For aesthetic reasons, a dental bridge was placed in the gap. Stage 3: After a further 3 months, the crown was placed on top of the implant and the procedure was complete.COST: My total costs of all this (including all flights) was around $5k Australian Dollars. A normal implant in Australia is usually around $7k and an implant with bone graft is $10k so I ended up getting the whole thing done for half the costs and my dentists at Kadali Dental were great and very professional and up front, so I'd definitely recommend them.

History question?enemy aliens?

I once had an elderly lady for a friend. She had a wonderful little dog. A mix of some sort. She had the dog trained well and it behaved very well. Learn here https://tr.im/4p1q5

She kept an uncovered candy dish on her coffee table with candy in it. The dog was forbidden to eat the candy. When she was in the room observing the dog he did not even appear to notice the candy. One day while she was in her dinning room she happened to look in a mirror and could see her dog in the living room. He did not know he was being watched. For several minutes he was sitting in front of the candy bowl staring at the candy. Finally he reached in and took one. He placed it on the table and stared at it, he woofed at it. He stared some more, licked his chops and PUT IT BACK in the bowl and walked away. Did he want the candy, oh yeah. Did he eat it? Nope. They can be trained that well but most, I'll admit, are not trained that well. When I was a young boy, maybe 5 years old. We had a german shepherd. He was very well trained also. My mom could leave food unattended on the table, no problem. She would open the oven door and set a pan roast beef or roast chicken on the door to cool. No problem. He would not touch it, watched or not. But butter? Whole other story. You leave a stick of butter anywhere he could reach and it was gone. He was a large shepherd so there were not many places he could not reach. Really, I think the number of dogs trained to the point they will leave food alone when not being supervised is very small indeed.
.
Now if we are talking obedience training, not food grubbing, that is a different story. Way back when I was first learning obedience training one of the final exercises was to put our dogs in a down/stay and not only leave the room but leave the building for 15 minutes. The only person that stayed was our trainer, not the owners. Most of the dogs in my class did not break their stay, which would be an automatic fail. I'm happy to report my dog was one of the ones that passed.

As an experienced dentist myself, and having treated near about 200 patients requiring root canal therapy, I would like to give answer to your question.Your question suggests that you are having pain in the tooth that was root canal treated. This means that you can pin point the exact tooth that is painful. If it is so, then the problem is in the root canal treatment. However, if you cannot clearly point the painful tooth and experiencing a general pain in that region of jaw then chances are that the pain may be from the adjacent tooth/teeth.Taking into consideration that the pain is from the root canal treated tooth, there are chances that infection has started again in that tooth. No treatment is guaranteed. Treated cases do fail. Same rule applies for root canal treated teeth. In my experience i would say that following the best root canal treatment protocol yields you a success rate of 95% . That means in every 100 treated patients, 5 patients will have reinfection and pain. In these patients, root canal therapy is not successful. Having said so, there is nothing to fear. These teeth can be retreated. For re-treatment, exact cause should be looked for.I would suggest following possible causes for pain after root canal treatment particularly which occurred after few months. How was the root canal therapy done?Which technique was followed? Are all the canals of the root properly prepared?Have all the canals filled properly by gutta percha? Is any of the canal inadequately filled? Is any of the canal not filled? Are there any extra root canals that are yet to be explored? How is the coronal seal? What post obturation restoration was used? Was any filing instrument separated within the canal? Most commonly the pain is due to one of the above reasons. Either the root canals are not adequately filled or some extra canals are missed.Good news is that, such tooth most of the times can be treated and the pain resides immediately. So if you are experiencing pain months after root canal treatment, consult your dentist immediately and get it treated. It is important to say that please do not blame your dentist!!! He/she gives you the best treatment possible. Complications do happen. There are many cases where i treated the patients very good but they failed. This suggests that an extra effort is needed to treat that tooth again, after which everything will be solved!!
