I want to get thrilled. Which movie should I watch?
First of all you need to define the term ‘Thriller’.What a thriller is to some, may be just a drama for someone else.But if you ask me about my type of ‘thriller’, (For me a thriller is something which leave you totally awkward in the end and you be like- WTF!! WHAT DID I JUST SEE? For me it is the best genre to be seen. Pretty higher than the ‘mystery’ genre) I would suggest you some movie like:The Prestige : Nolan's masterpiece. Brilliant suspense and thrilling moments each time you watch it.Shutter Island : A high class direction by a high class director. Everything is understood during the movie, but suddenly nothing is understood because you're been misled. You'll definitely feel awkward after seeing it.Kahaani : Not always bollywood produces such a invincible story. When I watched it for the first time, I screamed - WTF!!! YOU MUST BE KIDDIN. Really a great bollywood Movie.Memento : Another masterpiece by Nolan. The way of story telling is innovative. Everything that is told about this movie is less.Predestination : This is a science fiction film. Too amazing. Every science enthusiast (specially time travel enthusiast) must see this movie.The Illusionist : Talk to any movie enthusiast about thriller and he'd definitely suggest you this. Great work by Edward Norton.The Usual Suspects : Great twist in the end. You'll feel like you're been fooled. Bollywood movie ‘Chocolate’ was it's remake.The Sixth Sense : You'd fall in love with the kid after watching his acting. Open story. Puzzling ending.Fight Club : A masterpiece!! Great story and even greater is the acting skill of both the actors Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. A perfect thriller.Oldboy : This Korean movie perfectly defines the word Thriller. Great acting. Must watch.P. S. - Of all these, I like Shutter Island, The Prestige and Kahaani much more.
