Diaherra Tips And Hints To Know When It Ends.

My bunny has diarrhea and I need some tips on what I should do?

Okay, this is quite common.

First, take any moist food out- cucumber, other fruits etc. Change the bedding for comfort and offer LOTS of hay. Feed a little bit of bread and offer both water in one bottle, and a very weak camomile tea solution in the other bottle; it's a herbal cure.

If the rabbit gets dehydrated, lathergic, or doesn't drink, take it to a vet.

***

There's no need to rush out and take it to a vet unless there's signs of over tiredness (rabbit not moving, seeming floppy, not running away or greeting you when you go over to it), or the rabbit stops drinking, or it continues or gets worse over twenty four hours.

Rabbits can get diarrhea- but so do humans, and we don't instantly run to the doctor unless there's other issues. So just treat it as I and others have suggested- offer pleanty of hay and fresh water is the most important thing.

I hope this information is helpful.

Good Luck!

Health Tips: Can diarrhea be caused by dehydration?

Dehydration in Adults OverviewDehydration is a condition that occurs when the loss of body fluids, mostly water, exceeds the amount that is taken in. With dehydration, more water is moving out of our cells and bodies than what we take in through drinking. We lose water every day in the form of water vapor in the breath we exhale and in our excreted sweat, urine, and stool. Along with the water, small amounts of salts are also lost. When we lose too much water, our bodies may become out of balance or dehydrated. Severe dehydration can lead to death.Causes of Dehydration in AdultsMany conditions may cause rapid and continued fluid losses and lead to dehydration:Fever, heat exposure, and too much exerciseVomiting, diarrhea, and increased urination due to infectionDiseases such as diabetesThe inability to seek appropriate water and food (as in the case of a disabled person)An impaired ability to drink (for instance, someone in a coma or on a respirator)No access to safe drinking waterSignificant injuries to skin, such as burns or mouth sores, or severe skin diseases or infections (water is lost through the damaged skinSee more on this on the website of healthwatchcenter

How to know when diarrhea is over.?

Diarrhea Since yesterday morning, went to toilet for about 7 times and then i ate 4mg of colodium and didn't go to toilet since. Then this afternoon, the diarrhea is back so i took another 4mg of colodium and it stopped (stopped as in I can't release any stool ) I didn't have anything solid today. only 100+ to recover the lost electrolytes. But now, I am wonder if my diarrhea is gone or when I can take a meal?

So how to know when diarrhea is over?

How do you know when you are getting better after suffering diarrhea?

Generally, you find that you can consume more foods than the BRAT diet(Bannanas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast) and you feel good.

Feeling hungry is another sure sign.

An overall feeling of wellness is also a good way to tell.

If your poop starts to become more solid.

If you have to go to the bathroom less often.

If you spend less time in the bathroom

If you are no longer afraid to fart

If you feel like you can go somewhere that does not have a toilet within a minute from your current location

If your stomach stops rumbling so much and so often

If you stop feeling like you have gas so often

If you stop feeling thirsty so often

These are all good ways to know if you are getting better..

Hope that helps!

Diarrhea during period?

Hey, don't worry, yeah it sucks and it's embarrassing, but I've had my period for 6 years now and I always get diarrhea with my period every day and a day before it starts with headaches all the time. It's actually normal to have diarrhea with your period because there's a chemical going on with it. I read about it in cosmo once and I felt relieved because I wasn't the only one. If you take a Motrin with it, it'll help and with the water, just keep drinking as much water as possible. If you don't like drinking plain water, make a big pitcher of Crystal Light any flavor that you prefer and that will actually help you keep drinking water. As they say in the commercials: "Women who drink Crystal Light, drink 20% more water than recommended." So then that way you're getting enough. Try steering clear from pop and caffeinated beverages which may suck if you usually drink a lot of coffee or pop but trust me it helps. I don't know what to help you with the nausea. That's a little something I don't know about personally have you tried eating Saltine Crackers? Annoying and bland I know but it might help. You might have also gotten a stomach virus with it which really bites, I've had that happen to me before. Just take it easy, it'll go away after four days or so. The best thing to do is ride it out and if you're still having problems afterwards I suggest seeing a doctor because there might be something more serious going on. I hope this helped!

Constipation Followed By Diarrhea and Vomiting?

You can have diarrhea and constipation simultaneously you know, when you tip the scale the dam breaks and the river flows it isn't more complicated than that.. You had constipation which was probably caused by either a blockage or fiber (either too much or too little, both can cause constipation), ate when your body was telling you not to because it wasn't processing the food and released the river.

What you can do is begin treating the symptoms without having to visit a doctor, of course if serious complications like pain or bloody stool or constant diarrhea or stomach pains arise AFTER you dose yourself with my below suggestion then we've got a real problem...

Why does my husbands penis burn after diarrhea?

My husband has a burning sensation INSIDE his penis hole after he has a bowel movement.. He also has diarrhea right now, He said that after he urinates it also burns but not while he does. He also has mild cramps right around his bladder area.. What could be the cause of this? Thanxx.

My dog has diarrhea and keeps licking his butt?

If it just started today and eating/drinking is still fine, I wouldn't take him to the vet just yet. Go to the store instead. Buy chicken, chicken rice and broth. Boil the chicken and cook the rice in the chicken broth. Stop feeding his regular food and substitute it with the chicken and rice (same portion as dry food). If that doesn't work in 24 hours, then I would make an appointment with the vet. I can tell you honestly if I rushed my dogs to the vet everytime they had diarrhea, I would be bankrupt. I never rush them in. I fast them for 24 hours (they're large dogs so missing meals doesn't effect them adversely) at the vets advice then start on chicken and rice. It has worked 9 times out of 10. That one time it doesn't, we go to the vet with a stool sample.

Good luck! Hope your pup feels better soon!
