Global Warming Yahoos: Answer this please.?
Actually, there is more proof than not. I'm going to school right now to become a climatologist. I have done many research papers and have researched it for years now... and there is just way too much proof to believe global warming is not real, and for that fact, man has not done it. Too much proof.
9/11 happening again?
As long as radical Islam exists, there will be terror attacks. Americans have this false belief that security has tightened, yet I can still bring pocket knives, steak knives, scissors through Airport security and no one stops me. American airline security is the worst in the world. Have you ever flown with El-al (Israeli Airline)? They MANUALLY check your carry-on and check-in baggage in front of you and ask you a dozen security checks before getting on the plane.
How long will it take to stop global warming after a complete halt of greenhouse gas emissions?
the heating won’t stop after industrial civilization is shut down. The disappearance of particulate from the burning of fossil fuels will cause temperatures to go up. Currently the soot and pollutants operate as a solar radiation management tool. Once it’s gone, the temperature will bounce up upwards of 1.5 C. The scientists make this assertion because there was a similar uptick in global temperature the week after 9/11, when aircraft didn’t fly for security reasons. The planet will also continue to see heating from C02 and methane emissions for several years after an industrial meltdown.Speaking of ‘meltdown’, the problem with shutting off industrial civilization would be that it would leave some 450+nuclear power plants with no means to power their coolant systems. Meltdown of those plants would continue in short order, and ionizing radiation will be a far more efficient killer than AGW. No good prospects.
When and why did people start coming up with conspiracies that the government is behind many terrorists attacks (9/11, the Vegas shooting, etc.)?
I was a frequent contributor at a political chat room prior to and following 9/11. That made it relatively easy for me to know the politics of the other regular participants. What I found was that those who tended to create, accept and promote 9/11 conspiracy theories had 2 things in common:They had a history of belief in other conspiracy theoriesThey were political opponents of then President George W. Bush and/or they were generally opposed to US policies, and/or they were antisemitic.From what I’ve seen since then, I’ve concluded that those who adopt and promote conspiracy theories are:Prone to disregard the obvious and logical explanations for events and gravitate to an explanation that assumes a nefarious group was behind the event.Find the facts politically useless but the conspiracy theories politically useful.Support for the second point above is the fact that, generally speaking, conspiracy theorists are in the political extremes (far right, far left, or just “out there”) or generally support the political party not in power at the time. So you see a lot of right wing conspiracy theories when Democrats are in power and a lot of left wing conspiracy theories when Republicans are in power.
When will politicians agree to make war on climate change instead of pretending it is not happening?
I truly think you are worried for nothing clean coal is what they will use! along with green power & solar power Trees is what have to be replaced in the world millions & billions of trees! Also get more public transport & take the cars off the road Get rid of your car if you like I think this is what has happened before 9/11 nature seemed to do all the normal stuff storms cyclones tornados earthquakes tsunamis volcanos etc etc & they have always been around right & you must agree & you also must agree that people are now living in bigger areas therefore more damage will seem to be happening when there is a storm because people are in the new areas reporting them But because of all that oil in Iraq that was burnt & has often been burnt since could have really done the damage Along with all the NUCLEAR testing & the Cloud Seeding Now thats just my opinion but it has to be very bad for the environment
