Did I Buy Batteries Too Early

My Kindle Fire Hd 7 inch Battery Dies too early?

I received my Kindle Fire HD 7 inch at Christmas, and not long after my kindle fire hd 7 inch this month has been acting up too much. My battery dies even when it is at a 90% level or 60%, most of the time it randomly dies. The kindle used to survive on 5 percent battery level but now even at 15%, it will die without giving me a chance. When I press the on/off button after it dies and blacks out, it displays the words Kindle Fire as usual and then turns off. Other times it turns on the homepage, but still turns off later anyway. Only way to revive it, is to charge it and then automatically turns on. Is there anyway to fix this battery problem? I know I was suppose to drain its battery every week and charge it all the way to improve the battery life, but recently due to school and projects I didnt had time to do so. I dont have a warranty either, so I rather have any sort of advice before I attempt to convince amazon or the store I received it from to fix it.

If I wake up 30 minutes too early will I save "battery life" for the day if I stay in bed for the 30 minutes, even though I will not get any more deep sleep?

The question is how many hours you have slept that night. If the answer is 7 to 8 hours, then you could get up and start your day. If you just lay there for 30 minutes, awake, it will not change the energy that you will have for the day. If you fall asleep again for 30 minutes and the alarm clock wakes you up, you will have a bit more energy. Your body knew what it needed: you would not have fallen asleep again, if you did not need it. But generally speaking we are not just a battery and sleep is not just the recharger of the battery. We are a complex human being with a built-in system that recharges us, but it is by way of the diurnal hormone system.More about what you should know about sleep: Ray Schilling's answer to What should everyone know about sleep?

What does early or late mean when looking for a car battery?

You may have a year of car in which they changed design from say between 96-97. I bought a 95 ranger that was titled as a 96 even though it was built in 95. If your dealing with a completely redesigned model it could have a different battery dimensions.

The Battery's group size is what you should be looking at. They're usually posted where the amps are printed. Check you old battery for that number. It will be a number like 24N Something similar to that. That number is actually the size dimensions. Another thing is look at whether you have the posts on top or on the side.
A lot of GMs have them on the side.

Nikon Coolpix B500 batteries exhausted too early?

That's normal with a digital camera.... they burn through conventional disposable batteries in no time.

When I got my first digital camera back in 2006 I remember one time I put some brand new Panasonic batteries in it... worked fine at home... walked half an hour into town, and the camera wouldn't turn on..... tested the batteries in a torch, and they still worked fine in that, but didn't have the juice left in 'em to power a digital camera after just turning the thing on twice.

Most people just junk the disposable batteries that come with the camera as they're no good for anything other than torches + the TV remote, and upgrade to high capacity rechargeable ones (1800-2600+ mAh) otherwise you'll end up blowing a fortune on batteries.
The most popular ones are a range from Sanyo called the "Sanyo Eneloop".... come ready charged, and last months

I have the "Eneloop Pro" versions in a big old Fuji Bridge camera, and they usually go 12-18months between needing to be charged... more better known brands of rechargables such as "Energizer" seemed to just randomly drop their charge after a couple of weeks, so I got the Sanyo ones instead to see if they were any better, and they last months.

Why won't be dell battery charge?

The problem was the charger in the first place. Why on earth would you get a new battery is something you would only know. You using a friend's charger doesn't matter because unless it was the same brand and model, its useless. ESPECIALLY for Dells. Dells only work with Dells. Plus, the voltage and amperage may have been different.

You just need a new charger. Take my advice or leave it. You are the one asking for help, not me.

The charger's internal chip is either fried (which determines it is a Dell to the laptop so the laptop can accept its charge) or the charger itself is dead and isn't providing enough power (65 or 90w). Get a new charger.

You can look for a new charger online on sites like ebay or amazon but I would personally suggest you visit Topmic instead. Topmic is well known for their great services and their durable products. They include free shipping and free lifetime warranty. Yes, lifetime. This means if the charger ever stops working on its own for whatever reason, they would replace it as many times as needed at no additional cost, for life.

This is a great way to save money in the long run and a good investment as well.

Here is the link to the charger you needed in case you take my advice:

Best of luck.

Why do phone batteries get heated sometimes?

It depends on the rate of discharge of the battery. If there is a large draw on a battery such as running very intensive tasks, playing graphics intensive games and other things that discharge the battery like LED torch or Bluetooth etc. Then the current leaving the battery will be high and high current over lower voltages generates heat as a by product. This is why pylons favour high voltages because heat loss would be far more wasteful and expensive. Low intensity tasks such as writing a quick email would not draw as much current from the battery at the same rate.

How often do a Tesla's batteries need to be replaced?

Recent research in Tesla battery degradation has finally come out after data from Teslas many many years old have been compiled. The data show that Tesla has correctly combined Battery Temperature Control, Quick Charging, with real world charging behaviour. Old Battery packs have degraded by super small increments. Some to even less than 5% total after several years. Effectively meaning you could easily use your packs way after 30 years even. The key was that heat from charging over time caused the dendrite formation that degraded the batteries. Teslas cooling system solved that and allows you to quick charge with less guilt. Other considerations include NOT charging beyond 80% capacity and NOT going below 20%. Meaning, frequent, non full charging, is better for your battery. Also, Tesla software controls, prevent you from completely discharging as well, thus prolonging your battery.

Why does my car battery keep dying on me.?

most likely there is a slow draw in your electrical system of your car and it is killing one of the cells in the battery. i would take your car to an electrical specialist to have them determine where the draw is coming from...
the reason the battery is junk, is there are several cells in the battery, once one of the cells goes bad, it corrupts the power of the entire battery.

Why does my iPhone's battery drain quickly?

The first thing you may want to to is bring your iPhone into an Apple store. They can help you determine if it's a hardware issue. If it's not a hardware issue, below are a few things you can do to preserve battery life. One of the biggest battery drains is screen brightness. To make sure your brightness is not too high, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. You should see this pop up. From here, you can turn down the brightness if it's too high. The screens below are all available from Settings:Now, you'll want to see which apps are draining the most juice.Apple has battery usage stats built into the OS.To see them:1. (first to to Settings, as shown at the beginning above) Go to Usage2. Then click "Battery Usage."3. Voila! You can see which apps are using the most battery. To turn off apps' ability to auto-refresh in the background:1. (from Settings, as shown above) 2. Then go to Background App Refresh. 3. From here, you can toggle indivual apps off, or just turn all of them off, based on what you just learned about which apps are hogging battery.GPS is also a huge drain. Some apps are on all the time pinging your location. To adjust your location settings, and restore some sanity on your phone:1. From settings, go to privacy2. Then, go to "Location Services."3. Finally, you can scroll through the list of apps using your location. I noticed that Dropbox was a battery hog, so I turned its setting from "Always" to "Never." (all Dropbox needs my GPS for is to begin a camera upload; not a critical function, I can just open Dropbox every once in a while to begin a camera upload). My last suggestion is to turn off automatic downloads, app suggestions, etc from the App Store.1. From Settings, go to iTunes & App Store2. I turned all of these off. No automatic downloads of music, apps, books, or updates will happen. And Spotlight will use less juice hunting around on the App Store. I left Apps alone; this way the spotlight can still find installed apps on my device. If anybody from Apple is listening, stop the madness!!!! Either spend more energy on getting better batteries to us, or have your UX and engineering teams handle more of this in the background. It's crazy how fast my battery drains without doing these things.
