Did i eat healthy today?

Kinda. You ate healthy things, but not enough of them. You need to calculate your BMR Which means Burning metabolic rate. What it is the calories your body naturally burns, even if you just lay in bed all day.( which you don't) I calculated yours and you burn 1459 naturally and you dont want to go below that because it will slow your metabolism down and you will gain weight, and I'm sure you don't want that.

Ok, realistically, you should only lose 1-2 lbs a week...that is the healthy way. It will take about 8 weeks. But remember this little tip * If it comes off fast, it will come back faster *...I am not trying to discourage you. I'm rootin' for ya girl! Your eating great...you just need to eat about 400 more calories. You workout..it will happen for you. Believe in yourself!

Oh..another tip...if you split your workout up 30 min in the morning and 30 in the evening, you will lose faster. The reason why is when you exercise and get your heartrate up your metabolism speeds up and if you break it up it will speed up twice! yay!

As far as your diet...eat 5-6 small meals a day...I would just add one more meal to your diet. Eat the cereal for breakfast and the smoothie for dinner. Its better to have carbs in the morning. Dont eat any like after 2 pm...and make lunch your biggest meal!

I'm a runner and run around 30-40mpw and am 5 foot 3 and like 105 pounds but today was my rest day and I didn't workout.
Breakfast: 6oz plain Greek yogurt, 1 banana, 1 cup grapes,small orange
Snack- natural protein bar
Lunch- 1/2 butternut squash, 3 cups broccoli, 1/4 cup quinoa, 1/2 cup chickpeas, 2 egg whites, cabbage, kale,pita bread and a laughing cow cheese
Snack- natural protein bar,1 cup grapes and bai 5 drink
Dinner- a broth bowl with chicken, tomato, quinoa, lemon, lentils, spinach and kale. Then on the side I had a baguette
Snack- cutie

This adds up to 2100 calories and I'm afraid that's too much cause I did like nothing today lol!

How healthy did i eat today?

im trying to maintain my weight.

breakfast: 1/2 cup egg beaters with 1 slice lean canadian bacon, black olives, onions, mushrooms and a sprinkle of parm. cheese with 1 wheat low fat eggo waffle with 1 teaspoon organic peanut butter and home made hot cocoa (almond milk, truvia, unsweetened cocoa)

snack: apple, half banana, 2 teaspoons peanut butter organic

lunch: 2 slices whole wheat bread, 1 stick weight watchers cheese, 1 morning star vegan chicken patty, cucumber, onion, spinch and mushrooms with a few carrots

snack: 1 light and fit yogurt with 1/2 cup cherrios, 1/4 cup kashi go lean crunch, 1 cup mixed berries and some pineapple



dinner: 1 small piece lean salmon glazed with 1/2 teaspoon honey, some mustard and pineapple with 1-2 cups plain steamed mixed veggies

this equalled about 1300 calories and ill have another small snack in about an hour to keep my moteblism going.

i jogged 40 minutes today and did 20 minutes of zumba..ill probablly do the gazelle for another 20 minutes and do some toning exercises...

is this healthy??

Breakfast- A breakfast burrito small amount of grits 2 tea spoon of butter

Lunch- Nothing

Dinner- 3 sloppy joe sandwiches small plate of vegetables on the side carrots, broccoli, caloflour
Also rode my bike for 25 minutes
And will I gain weight from what I ate today or will i stay the same weight.

snacks: candy cane, gum, soda, sucker, fruit2day, mints, a couple trisects and a few hand fulls of granola?
(I haven't eaten dinner yet)

Lunch-
Sandwhich (mustard, mayonaise, whole wheat bread, cheese, and turkey breast)
Dorito chips (1 small bag)
Capri Sun
String cheese
apples

Dinner:
Split pea soup with two sliced of garlic bread

you got some fruit, got some vegetables, some meat, and good exercises seems pretty good to me.
just follow this rule, three meals and three snacks a day, keeps your metabolism going so when you are out walking or any kinda of movement your working off calories.

What did you eat for a healthy snack today?

An apple and a boiled egg is what I ate today as a snack. This is an alright bite to tide you over until your next meal, or if you are not hungry for a full meal. The fiber in the apple helps digest the fruit sugars properly and keep you from getting hungry again as quickly as a less natural sugar source. The protein from the egg will be digested even more slowly than a sugar keeping you full longer as well. Something I recommend is adding a healthy fat to balance it out. A low-sugar peanut butter goes well with the apple, or some fresh avocado will be delicious with the egg (especially with a pinch of salt) and add even more natural fiber to the mix. Fats are the best foods for satiety (meaning they will make you feel and stay full).

Also, I'd pair that with a heaping of Doritos; mixed with a couple peanut m&ms. Gotta treat yourself every once in a while. Dinner. Who needs dinner.
