That could mean quite a few things, he may be waiting on someone to quit/be fired, he may wanna think on it a few days, or he may have just been to busy to schedule orientation with you right then. I would say if you don't hear from anyone in 72 hours call or stop by to check in. This also shows how much you want the job. Be persistent if you really want it!

My makeup was done, I wore a a cute top that wasn t too revealing, but did flatter my figure. I was so confident & excited, and as soon as I walked in, all eyes were on me & I instantly got nervous. The other girls were being friendly. I asked to see a manager, and they went to get him. The manager came and I introduced myself and shook his hand. He said it s nice to meet you, and I just straight up asked him "can I fill out an application." So he brought one over. Afterwards He pulled me aside and went over my application & goes, "is this a good number to reach you at?" I said yes. Then he goes, "what s your availability? Nights? Day?" I said "nights would work best for me." He said okay, and then he said, "So tell me about yourself." I was kind of caught off guard, so I said, "Well... My name is _, I m 18 years old, I currently work at a restaurant down the road & I ve been there for 3 years..." he said, "wow." I said, "Yeah, it was m first job ever.. I started off as a hostess & now I m a server. I ve never worked in another restaurant but I ve been in the same one for 3 years in every department, they even trained me to be on bar." He nodded and said, "okay, understood." He continued to look at my application and said, "well, our hiring manager is out of town right now, but he will be back on Tuesday." I said okay, and he said that he will give the hiring manager my application. He ended things with, "I hope to see you again, thank you." And I shook his hand and I left.

Here is what happen. I went in looking good nails done hair done makeup on not to much not to little. I was asked to sit where ever then i said " oh im here to see the manager" smiling he comes over right away.. well I said smiling im here because a friend of mine told me that yall always hired and well I would love to have an application. He got me one right away and said depending on how fast i filled it out he could interview me right away well i got done with it and then the girls kept trying to get a good look at mefinallyy they allsurroundedd the table and i laughed and smiled. then he asked for me to come over to another table and asked me a few questions i said well i love the fuenvironmentnt . pretty much he kept asking me is there any other quesitons that i need to know and well couldn't think of anything.. he pretty much said well we will go over the application and if u get called back in 3-5 days you have it if not well the position may have been filled. I said ok that's fine and pretty much was on my way..

I had an interview at Hooters and when the manager asked me why I haven't quit my job yet (I work at another wing place) I told him I was waiting to make sure I found another job first. He told me to go ahead and turn in my two weeks there and scheduled a uniform fitting. Does this mean I got the job? I read other posts about Hooters, and they all said you have to go through like an audition first. Also, I have my uniform fitting on Monday morning. What should I wear and what should I expect? I'm 5'11/6', My measurements are 34-26-34 and I wear like a size four. Would the uniform fit me? I know they only go up to a size small, so I'm nervous about that!

Hey! I don't work at hooters unfortunately but GOD do I ever want to! I have heard and read that they hire on the spot and have you try on te uniform at the interview but I cannot really tell you. However, I hope you got it and if you could help me that would be great! I am just wondering what type of questions they asked you? I really want to apply there but already know I'm to fat so no worries I'll just get in shape then apply. Oh and if they didn't hire you, you can always wait and apply again being sure to make the manager and hiring manager to smile. That was a trick I learned in cheerleading was to make the judges smile when they weren't suppose to...anyway that will help cause if you can make the Gm smile then they know customers will!! You’re a chef working at a Hooters. How do you get that Hooters a Michelin Star?
As stated in other answers, as Hooters is a franchise the menu is set and the systems manuals for the kitchens will be identical across all franchises. The ordering system will be near identical and the costs for the food will be fixed which makes elevating it to Michelin level (which is an expensive undertaking) all but impossible. Were an individual Hooters able to do so, they'd have severely impacted their profit margins, priced their usual clientele out of the place and I'm pretty sure they'd be in violation of their franchise. That having been said, there's nothing to say a Hooters inspired resturant couldn't get a Michelin star.
