Did I Get The Job Help

Could any one help me to get a job in Dubai?

NoFor 2 reasons:Quora is not linked-in. Nothing put me in nworst mood than recieving a Private Message “We are both on Quora, we are friend, find me a job!” especially when it ends in “do the needful” or “take initiative”. Quora is not a networking site but a forum of discussion. You do not provide any details on what kind of job you are looking into. That’s the reason Linked-in is better suited for this request. Linked-in is geared towards this kind of request. My profile there is public, iff you are an Engineer with some experience in aviation/ Ground Handling, you may contact me there, if not there is nothing I can do for you.

Does College really help you get a job?

To get a good job in the US you need a marketable skill and a credential. For example to be an engineer or a teacher you are going to need that credential of all credentials—the appropriate bachelor’s degree. However parents and students have been brainwashed into thinking, “The ONLY valid credential is a bachelor’s degree. You can’t get a job without a four year degree.”It is a lot more complicated than that in our current economy. Most students who matriculate at four year colleges are just wasting their time and their parent’s money. Only one in four will graduate and get a good job. There just aren’t that many suitable jobs given the vast army of students enrolling. Students are entering a competition for a few good jobs, and most of them don’t understand this. With your run-of-the-mill college degree you are just as likely to end up working at Dick’s Sporting Goods peddling Nikes as in some fancy office pulling down $75K. A record twenty-five percent of minimum wage jobs are held by college graduates today. There are plenty of other credentials besides a bachelor’s degree that can lead to financial success. With the cost of four-year colleges skyrocketing and the stock of suitable jobs that have traditionally been filled by college grads in short supply parents and students need to consider their post-secondary choices carefully.

My cousin asked me to help him get a job but he got fired from his last job for being a douchebag?

My cousin is probably the dumbest individual you will ever meet. He is always right, it's always someone else's fault and he always tries to do as little as possible. He called me yesterday to say he got fired. He didn't say he got fired, he more angled it towards him being laid off because of lack of work but I am 95 percent sure he got fired. He tried the same bs story the last time he got fired. You really need to hear this.

Here we have a months notice. His last boss actually told him that he would pay him for his last month as long as he didn't come in to work. So he "worked" his last month without having to go to work. The boss just wanted to get him out of his sight. That says a lot about a person. Now he asked me for help. In a way I really want to help. His wife is incompetant and can't work, he has a little baby girl of 2 years and he has one on the way. For the sake of his children I really want to help. But to recommend him could ruin my reputation. What would you do?

Why am I the only teen that CAN'T get a job? Help?

I always take a shower and make myself presentable prior to retrieving and returning job applications. I always return the application on the same or next day. Some places I have applied at multiple times and I have applied at over 15 places total and haven't gotten a single call back. EVERY SINGLE friend I have including siblings has applied at no more than 3 places and gotten a job within 2 weeks. It's ridiculous. I'm running out of opportunities...

Ideally, I walk in to the place, ask for an application (please), say thank you, then leave. I come back later and say I need to hand this in, and proceed to hand it to the person operating the counter (which occasionally is the manager), say thanks again, and leave. I am always polite and presentable and I've even applied at places that said they were hiring and yet if I have a friend that already works at that place, he'll tell me that they've been hiring a bunch of other people instead of me. This is getting extremely agitating. Can someone help or offer any input?

Will getting a job help me lose weight????? HELP!!?

HELP!! SECOND INTERVIEW DONE. DID I GET THE JOB?

I went to a second interview today. The first interview went swell, and I was invited back for a second. This time, the big boss and I sat down and interviewed for a while. She asked me all sorts of job related questions, etc. She then mentioned that it looked like I was only looking for a temporary job and I tried my hardest to assure her, that I needed something stable and long term and have just had bad luck with companies in the past. She then went over some of her expectations and mentioned that I seemed to understand their work concepts well. She then said she would need to check with other departments on when I could start. I said okay, and as I was leaving I asked her so I will wait to hear from you then, will you call me? She smiled and laughed a little and nodded. Do you think I got the job?? I am so worried, I really need to know, because I need this job bad.

P.S. - The first time I interviewed yesterday, the girl told me that if the big boss liked me I would start today...that's another reason I am concerned. When should I expect to hear from her?

Any input would be much appreciated! Thank youuu!
