How do you handle people who don't like that you're always right?

I think those people don't like you're always right probably has nothing to do with you being right. They don't like you because you are smarter than them. They just do not have the capacity to appreciate your talent. If these people aren't important in your life or social circle, you can choose to ignore them. Sometimes you will have new insight by keeping the right answer to yourself and let the others contribute.I understand engineers or analysts  that work with numbers and data are able to get the most out of raw  data. They are confident with their findings. No one should dislike or  disrespect you for being good at something right? If they are doing this  intentionally and it is unavoidable, ALWAYS BE POLITE and SMILE. Otherwise, you can try saying something like 'correct if I'm wrong, but I think...'. The reason it works because the other person can add on to your ideas if they think you are right. In the end they will feel like he or she is the person that actually comes up with the correct answer. Remember, everyone likes to be right. To saying someone is wrong in the public somewhat equals to destroying someone's ego. Well these are my experience on how to handle people in general social setting. I don't know if it helps in your situation.Just my thoughts, hope they help...

Did I handle this confrontation with my boss right?

I m 23 years old and I work retail. I also for the last few years have had mental problems, but have gotten significantly better. I have anxiety and hypervigilant issues on top of that II hear people insult all day and some paranoia. That being said people are assholes and make rude comments on top of that, but they re always passive aggressive and sly insults. I m not always sure when its which so I try and address these situations tactically. I could just ignore it all together, but its bad because people think your weak and I want people to respect me in relations. That being said the kind of people who make rude comments are cowards they either get scared and stutter or play dumb when I confront them. My boss who is 25 makes sly comments about me he s weaselly and fake too. I confronted him and he put on this super fake act even though we know how he is. The problem is I have a catch 22 if I tell them about my mental problems they can easily dismiss and if I don t than there is some pieces missing in my story. So when my supervisor ask me what happened between us I said I wasn t sure, but I remain skeptical. I wasn t planning on staying with this company that long , but now its an awkward situation.

How do you handle a boss that always thinks he is right and even when he is wrong he doesnt apologize?

First of all, please relax.

Look, your case is no different than others. All over the world most of the bosses are ego minded people and ofcourse they have to be.

Put yourself in his shoes. Think you own the business and your assistant points out your mistake. What will you feel? Won't you feel embarassing? This is exactly what he feels.
It is not that he does not know his mistake, but the thing is that he feels that if he accepts his mistake, he will loose his dignity and ego. That's the only reason.

For any organisation, if the boss is caught making mistakes and he accepts, it may carry a negative meaning among the other staff about the boss. He is afraid that he will lose his respect.

I am myself have had similar experience. I was very much upset and then my senior colleagues advised me and not things are very fine i.e. very very good.

All that you have to keep in mind is that, around 70 - 80 % of your salary is for obeying your boss and 30% is for doing work. And then I started resisting/arguing with my boss and also continued the same level of performance in the work. I always started to obey his orders and talk friendly and gave him a pleasant smile. I took care not to annoy him and things changed compeletely.

One advice, when you leave the Office forget all that has happened during the work. Otherwise you will get depressed. There are lot of loving things to be taken care of while at home, enjoy them. Work and Home are two different things, do not mix them and screw your life.

Hope this helps.

My BGF saw me naked? But did he handle the situation right?

So my best guy friend and my brother are best friends. He's 16 and so am I and my brother is 20. Him and me have known each other since we were in diapers. My brother and him were playing this video games. And usually I lock my bedroom door and my bathroom door and I take my shower and change in my bathroom. So I was changing and I guess he (BGF) came in my room to get something. I was changing and i swear i locked it. Anyways he "saw" me!! He stared at me for like a good minute or two. I saw him started to blush and I quickly put on a towel and turned around. At first he just started to apologize and said sorry a billion times. Then when he saw that I was kind of ashamed he came up to me and I thought he was gonna rape me but he was to good of a friend. He came up to me and softly said "There's nothing to be ashamed of your beautiful" and then he tried to give me an awkward hug the whole time he was like breathing on my neck. Then out of nowhere he said "Oh ****" and I turned around and I saw him getting a hard-on. He saw me looking and turned around and apologized again for coming in and started saying sorry for the *****. Did he handle the situation right? Was he trying to get something by hugging me? Why didn't he just leave. Also whenever I see him now he can't look at me in the eyes. I kind of like him to? What should I do?

Why do AK variants have the charging handle on the right side?

I’ve often wondered about this too. I can’t give you an answer. If you are a right handed shooter [as most of us are] then logically and ergonomically the best side of rifle to put the charging handle is the left side so you don’t have move your right hand off the trigger. The FN FAL Battle Rifle is the only modern rifle I know of which has followed this logic. Go figure! However many of the latest rifles now have ambidextrous charging handles on the forearm [or receiver] of the rifle like the AK12, Beretta ARX, and the FN SCAR. These rifles allow the user to install his cocking lever on either side. I’d like to point out that the U.S. M1 Garand and the M14 also used the right handed cocking lever.
