Did U Ever Get Stuck On A Ride

Why do i get stuck on the water slide?

Too much friction. Your shorts are made of something like cotton which, when wet, sticks to the slide surface.

Try most any swimsuit. They tend to be made of more slippery fabrics. If all else fails, hold a plastic bag (like a grocery bag) under your butt while sliding—if they let you.

Or you could slide down while keeping your shorts from pressing against the slide. Do that by laying flat and take as much weight off the shorts by pressing down on legs, arms, and back (or belly, depending on whether face up or down). You might be surprised at how fast you'll go!

How to get Sea Doo reverse gate un-stuck?

We were riding the sea doos the other day and turned them off in Lake Michigan and took a quick swim. Once we were done and ready to ride some more, we started it up and as we gave it some throttle we noticed it made a weird noise and it had barely any thrust. We inspected it and saw that the reverse gate was stuck in the down position blocking the water that was trying to be shot out. It goes forward, it's just the reverse gate is stuck. It is a 2010 sea doo GTX

Have you ever been stuck on a roller coaster?

Disneyland’s Space Mountain. Normally ridden in near pitch-dark, here’s how it looked instead as we awaited being evacuated on foot.

Has a cruise ship ever been stuck in a hurricane?

I have experienced hurricanes on 2 different cruises. You have to realize that the ship is safer at sea than tied to some concrete duck and near the immovable land lying beyond the dock. It can make for a bumpy ride, but the ship can take more than you can. I encounter rough seas a whole lot more than I would like, sometimes I fear a rollover. I get thrown around, crack ribs, fear loosing teeth, but the ships kept going. That is not always the case, ships get lost in storms all the time, The Edmund Fitzgerald, the El Faro., Andrea Doria. When facing a hurricane, you need to make adjustments. I was on a Carnival cruise as passenger. Being a Captain, I had my GPS, my binoculars, cell phones weren’t big then. I’m plotting the Hurricane, our position, destination. I knew 4 days before any announcement that we were not going to end up as planned. My daughter WAS crew, they didn’t tell her.We, and the hurricane, were going to New Orleans. That was the end of the cruise. Instead they sailed to the next port, Tampa. Flew all the passengers waiting for the ship in New Orleans to Tamps, and returned the people such as myself with a car in New Orleans back the next day. Got an 8 day cruise for price of 7.Another time a hurricane was hitting Puerto Rico. we went in circles of the coast for 5 hours until the eye passed. I went up on the deck and easily stood at 50 degree angles into the wind. The ship however, kept chugging, timing the turns until we could enter the harbor for a shortened stay.I’ve also been aboard in Tornadoes, similar. They pass. You do not want to be tied up, next to concrete and palm trees.Currently, I captain in south east Florida. I have a plan. I can run 100 miles in a day. If I don’t head out of trouble a couple days ahead of time shame on me. So many leave their boats here in April, go back to the Northeast and then a storm puts their boat downtown. The yacht was abandoned 3 months earlier. Can’t fix stupid. There are many “hurricane holes’ to hide in, but you have to have someone move it.Cruise ships get hit by hurricanes, they adjust, but sometimes too late, some sink. But you do have warning 5–9 days ahead, have a plan, put in action 2 days ahead if needed. I’d rather take you to an unintended destination than drown you. Enjoy the ride!

Has anyone ever rode kingda ka when it gets stuck on the top!?

It is entirely possible for this to happen. If the train does get stuck at the top a worker takes the elevator to the top and rocks the train until it falls either forwards or backwards.

Plus, getting a rollback is awesome. I had one on Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point and falling backs 400ft is incredible.

What would happen if a rollercoaster got stuck upsidedown?

I am going with my boyfriend to an amusement park. I'm kinda scared of getting stuck upside down. I would just like to know what they would do if that happened. Please no rude answers. Thank You!

What is the longest you've ever been stuck inside a subway car?

Luckily, only about 20 minutes.Coming north out of Union on the University Avenue side in the Toronto subway, there was an electrical fire in the next station up the line (St. Andrew). The fire shorted out the entire electrics for the line so the fire self-extinguished, but it also cut power through a good section of the line. After sitting in the dark, we were evacuated through the length of the train and got to explore the tunnel on foot. Luckily, again, it's a very short walk between the two stations at the worst of times so it only took about 5 minutes to get to the station.Of course, although the Yonge section was still working, it was packed. Both sides of the downtown loop regularly operate at above capacity so the Yonge section was trying to work at about 200% of capacity at the heart of rush hour. It was wall to wall people. I decided to have dinner at the Eaton Centre while things calmed down and got home to Scarborough about 2 hours late.

So what happens if you get stuck on a roller coaster when it's upside down,?

No, you won't fall out since you're strapped in securely. Amusement parks in the U.S. plan for this. However, the blood will rush to your head, and you'll temporarily become much more intelligent and will be able to solve difficult physics problems. This is only temporary, and you'll soon return to your normal, mediocre self. You'll get a headache, which will last a few hours. You'll be on TV.

How often do people get stuck in an elevator?

I’m no engineer, but I have been trapped in an elevator at least twice. Both times, happened in a small elevator with weight limits, where people pushed others to get in. Evidently once the weight was far exceeded, the elevator would get stuck in between floors. This happened decades ago in New York, at a government office where I worked. I decided to answer this question just because it brought memories of one particular instance when the elevator, stuck between floors, made one of the ladies entering last, start screaming: “Oh, God, we’re going to die here!” They had already pushed the emergency button, and there had been no assistance personnel coming to help.I was at the back of the elevator, and I could feel the other people’s bodies pressing against me, like on everyone else. There were too many people inside that “small box.” I decided to breathe slowly not to consume too much oxygen, and that was the behavior most of the people displayed. However, a man who got upset at the screaming woman, lost his patience and said angrily: “Shut up! You’re being stupid!,” at which time the doors opened. To make a story short, both the woman and the man, disappeared out of everyone’s sight, evidently embarrassed at their behavior, while the rest came out and continued their business as usual at the office they had to go to. I guess that everyone else had a special learning experience that day on human behavior under pressure. I know I did!
