Why is it called a ******** when it is actually sucking?

Still curious about the real answer, but have started the day with laughter just the same! You people are AWESOME!!

If the working gals use the term 'honky' for that very logical reason, then logically thinking, shouldn't the term BJ have evolved as a variation of the word 'sucker'? From the male perspective, 'sucker' would/could have been a twist on 'lollipop'. From the females perspective 'sucker' could have meant fool or dummy cuz men will pay, or do, alot to get one, but BLOW J??? These speculative answers are GREAT and I hope they keep on coming in, but the true and trackable answer to this has GOT to be out there SOMEWHERES!!!!

Have you ever been acknowledged by someone famous?

Not only famous but someone I look up to :) I am a nerd and my heroes include techies, entrepreneurs and few VCs.I was part of the INSITE Fellowship program when I was pursuing MBA at NYU Stern. The fellowship helped MBA students provide consultation on pitching, positioning etc to startups in NYC. Every semester, we worked with a startup and in between, there were networking events with VCs.In one such event, we were meeting the famed and very awesome Fred Wilson from Union Square Ventures. He had invested in twitter, foursquare and many other most popular startups of that time (I’m talking about 2010–11).I mentioned something and he said, “send me an email”. I instantaneously and quite unconsciously replied, “oh come on, you don’t reply to your emails from people like me.” And he said, “I do”. After 2 mins of back and forth, he took out his phone and showed me his inbox – sorry, his priority inbox. He said, “see that email, now thats a nice subject, I will check it.” “But what if my email gets stuck in your regular inbox?” was my immediate question? “Then, nothing can happen. So you need to at least make it to my priority inbox, can you?” “I will find a subject interesting enough for you then” He smiled cunningly and said, “lets try”. I did and both of my emails eventually showed in his priority inbox few mins later! I am sure he was humoring me but that was so awesome. This happened and I blogged about it next morning and sent him the link. To my utter pleasure and surprise, he wrote a post about ‘How to get your emails read’ on his super duper popular AVC blog that same day and linked me :OImagine the traffic to my blog that day. I only got to know when one of my classmates called me to congratulate on making it to Fred’s blog. That was one hell of an interesting day to say the least :)Meeting Fred Wilson
