What is the meaning of seeing and picking up a snail in a dream?

The snail is a symbol of yourself. As you pick it up and are looking at it you are seeing your very self. You see yourself as coiled up and locked within a shell. That shell is the shell of your being. You are very protective of yourself and feel a need to withdraw into yourself whenever you feel threatened in any way. You withdraw and clamp up the opening to your being. Once you feel safe again you very slowly come out of your shell and start moving about again. Now keep in mind you are not just looking at the snail but that you have also picked it up to look at it more closely. This is your inner self prompting you to examine your behavior more closely and to ask yourself if your present methods of dealing with life are the most beneficial to you. As you are examining the snail you are hearing the message that you are moving at a very slow pace in life and you need to start making some decisions to speed things up a little.Your dream is your inner self telling you something you already know but do not want to admit to yourself. You need to pick up your pace (snail) and stop being afraid of life and take some decisive action with it.

I saw death of my son in my dream. What is the meaning of this? I am worried.

No, no, there is nothing to worry about. You should understand the mechanism of any dream. It had been established that dreams are nothing but a way of cleaning itself or unburdening itself by or mind. Whatever informations it gathers in our daily life, it cleans some of our, it is a regular process and is on 24 hours and when our active mind is asleep, we tend to see dreams. Now, you love your son and constantly thinking of his welfare, any parent would do so, you love him and always worried about his health, well-being, this thought is so deep that you are not even aware of this emotion. The emotions related with one's children ought to be very strong and very deep, we don't always express them but they are there. We are always worried about our children and always feel very much protective towards them and we know love is always insecure. It always makes a person to think that something drastic will happen to their loved ones. Relax, the meaning of this dream is that you love your son and be assured that you will keep on seeing these dreams. No harm, your love, your worrying are being shown to you.

If you allow your land to rest in the seventh year, will your land be more productive?

Well, my grandfather was a farmer. From what I learned from him, you should let land rest, but that doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't plant anything there. You can plant a different kind of crop in the same field every year and it doesn't use up all of the nutrients as much as if you planted the same thing there again and again. There are certain kinds of crops that you should plant in intervals so that they can balance each other out. I'm not exactly sure what they are, but for instance, you might plant corn in a field one year and watermelons in the same field the next year and it will grow better than it would if you had used that field strictly for corn every year.

What is your one unfulfilled dream that you know you cannot fulfill now?

When I was in 3rd or 4th standard, I would dig up a particular piece of land in the parking lot of my grandma’s housing society complex. I would do that because one day while playing I had found a few colorful stones at that spot and thought that maybe there was an underground treasure or something much bigger like a lost city beneath that spot. And so the digging started and it had become a daily ritual for me. After returning from school I would sincerely dedicate half hour for the digging. Spoons and paint brushes were the only tools I had back then. There were times when I thought of giving up but then I would find another colorful stone and my motivation increased. At first it seemed harmless to the society people and they’d laugh on my idea of finding a treasure or a new city beneath their parking lot. Some would come and help me dig while some would purposefully park their car over my spot. But I would still roll underneath their car and continue my digging and would sometimes stuff their car silencer/exhaust with cloth. After a month or two, the spot had become considerable sized hole and it started bothering the society people. The society secretary complained to my grandpa and my grandpa, who was the only person who believed in my dream, sat me down and explained how I had to give up on that dream of finding a city. It’s too late to go back now and start digging because it’s all concrete and tar and what not. And I would have to have some real proof to show there’s something beneath that parking lot. So my dream of excavating a new city lies unfulfilled. My grandpa however had made a small memory of that place for me. When the cementing process was going on, he took a stick and carved a ‘G&A’ on the wet cement which meant ‘Greeshma and Appa’ (I called him Appa)Thanks for the A2A Mohit :)
