Although I'm myself an Indian, I would like to place an another nation on the top spot, which is Papua New Guinea; although it would actually be tough for comparing the cultural diversity of the two nations.Papua New Guinea has 852 spoken languages within its numerous tribes residing on its different islands. The sign language is also one of its official languages. The other major languages and Enga, Huli and English. India, on the other hand, has 22 major languages and the rest are their dialects.A Huli tribesmanHowever, when we talk about religion, most of its citizens (about 95%) are Christians. India, on the other hand, has a variety of diverse religions, with four of them - Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism originating on the subcontinent itself.Hence, we can say that Papua New Guinea is linguistically more diverse while India is religiously diverse.
It is naive and pointless to try to identify any single factor that will make a country stronger. Currently, arguably the two ‘strongest’ nations on our planet are the United States, and China. The U.S. is one of the most multicultural countries, while China is one of the most homogeneous.In fact, I would say that it is pointless to identify any single characteristic that will make a country stronger. Democracy or dictatorship? There are weak democracies and strong democracies, weak dictatorships and strong dictatorships. Religious or non-religious? There are strong and weak forms of both.What I would tend to focus on more is flexibility…a country’s ability to adapt and change, as the world around it changes. And in that regard, I would consider a multicultural society to be superior…because it is, by its nature, going to be more flexible, have more ideas, more perspectives, etc.But overall, the ‘strength’ of a country is going to be a result of a very complex interplay of numerous different factors.
Liberalism? Conservative? What do these really mean?
Liberal comes from the word Liberty, because Liberals love liberty, the opposite of what conservatives want. Liberals started America, they rebeled against the far right wing conservative British with their high taxes and excessive government, and won. Conservatives say they want smaller government and lower taxes to get elected, they always increase government control over our private lives and and always increase taxes. The current conservative adminstration proves this, as they have increased government bureaucracy and spent more than all other previous administrations combined. Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb.
