If someone is fiscally conservative and socially liberal, what are they? Are they Libertarian?
Indeed, they are libertarian.Sadly, in the United States this word has been misappropriated by ultra-conservatives such as the Tea Party, who embrace fiscal conservatism but none of the social liberalism. Consequently the word is somewhat tainted in the US, but elsewhere it retains its original meaning. Libertarians agree with conservatives that most of government is a massive waste of money. However, if you oppose gay marriage, think the war on drugs is a pretty neat idea, approve of drone strikes in places you can't point to on a map and believe that government has a mandate to spy on ordinary citizens, you are not a libertarian. The Nolan chart helps us out here:The key is that libertarians don't just think government is a waste of money, they go beyond this and think much of what government does is actively detrimental to all of us, even the poorest in society.
How come Democrats hate African Americans?
I am African American and a Democrat. Democrats don't hate African Americans and you know it. Your allegations are nonsense. We of course would not join or support the Republican Party which purposely attracts and coddles racists.
Why do liberals like to correct grammar and spelling so much?
1. Spell check and grammar check your questions and answers. Do not give people ammo to use against you. When your answer is full of bad grammar and spelling it negates whatever point you are making 2. As other's have said, there are those on both sides who can not give substantive arguments and therefore feel they must attack the messenger. If they can minimize you, they can minimize anything you say. On a larger scale it is what they try to do to Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul and other prominent conservatives and Libertarians who threaten the status quo.
Why wont I hire liberals .........ever?
LIBERALS INTERVIEW FOR REAL WORK? How do they have time for REAL WORK, they are either standing on a street corner somewhere holding a glossy "Lets Kill Bush and GIVE peace a chance" signs or sitting in thier section 8 housing waiting for the next free handout.
