Yes they do, in the form of pelicans, and condors,and eagles, and buzzards. All of the raptor family of birds are descendants of dinosaurs.

Mokele Mbemebe could be a candidate. Other so called Jurassic age creatures have been found alive Ropen in Papa New Guinea seem to be Pterodactyls. Coelacanth were thought to have died out before dinosaurs, but were found alive in the 1940s. What is the difference between an Iguana and an Iguanodon apart from size - they could have been genetically identical.

I just watched a documentary on TV where a guy gives all the evidence. He spoke about some newspaper articles and photos he had found which indicates that there are still dinosaurs alive in places like the great Marsh in Africa, or the Amazon jungle. Even large rivers in Scotland have been known to contain some weird creatures. Some of these have been reported about 11 000 times! All of these creatures live under water, and are most active during the night, according to this guy. Please, if there is any learned scientist out there, share your thoughts. Please try to be serious about this one. No spam or useless answers, please!

I wonder that all the time. Not because of unexplored areas but you never know what scientists are up to. We have no clue what could really bed going on. But anywho I'm sure its possible

Others have already correctly pointed out that birds are dinosaurs (look at a cassowary sometime), and that fossils of dinosaurs still exist. But I want to explicitly say that if this question is asking:“Could there still be suaropods living in African rainforests?” (which people have suggested with a straight face: Mokele-mbembe) or,“Could there be plesiosaurs in the oceans?” (A review of the evidence for living plesiosaurs).Then: No. There is no evidence for this. There are strong theoretical reasons against there being small pockets of large undiscovered animals that are holdovers from 65 plus million years ago (carrying capacity, size of populations needed to stay viable, etc.).Sorry. It would be cool if it there were.

There have been (even recently) reports of strange animals in the amazon and the congo that sound a lot like dinosaurs. And there are reports of giant flying reptiles in Indonesia, and so forth. There are thousands of square miles of almost impenetrable swamps and thick jungle in the world. And natives in some of these places describe beasts that fit with what just might be dinosaurs. And what about all the sightings of lake monsters? This is a field called cryptozoology—the search for hidden animals. There just might be a few dinosaurs left, teetering on the edge of extinction. We are constantly discovering new species of animals and plants in remote areas. A tree can’t run away and hide and yet the Wollemi pine tree avoided detection until just recently (said to have become extinct millions of years ago).
