Why do guys like girly girls?
Girly girls have everything that we, as men, find attractive. She dresses feminine, looks the part, has beauty, proportionate body size, blonde hair, etc. Think about Barbie for a second. She's an icon that has stood the test of time. Back in the 50's when Barbie was invented, she was the quintessential trophy wife. The one that was super hot, kept the house clean, took care of the kids and could entertain your boss at a moment's notice. That was in the days when women didn't work. Some part of that has carried over to today and it's still what most guys find attractive. It's not that we only want to be with the Barbie. Different kinds of guys like different things, and find different things attractive.

Seriously, i love sporty girls, they are usually more cheerful and burstin with energy and they sport a beautiful tan that positively make them glowing with health! I am an outdoor adventure guy too,so i appreciate a sporty chick like you!
Do guys like smart girls who are less girly and independent?
The question is formulated in a way that suggests smart and independent girls are “less girly”.What does the word “girly” mean to you? Would “more girly” mean stupid and dependent? Then you should ask yourself why is it that you think this way.An emotionally mature guy who has high self esteem definitely values a strong, independent woman who is smart and interesting to talk to. Such a guy feels good about himself and doesn’t feel threatened by a smart girl. In this case, both partners support each other and gladly learn from each other.If, on the other hand, a guy has a very fragile ego, he is naturally drawn to women who do not threaten his ego. He always wants to be right, he mansplains, because his self-worth comes entirely from feeling superior to his partner. God forbid a girl wins an argument, proves him wrong or turns out to be better than him at something which he thinks men should be able to do better. She is immediately labelled as a tryhard, a feminist (such guys don’t even know what this word means and use it whenever they feel like), a bitch etc. It’s unfortunate that boys are conditioned to think this way in many cultures even today, because this doesn’t help them develop into well rounded individuals.It’s all about the person’s maturity and emotional balance. Mature people know it isn’t a competition and do not feel threatened by their partner’s success in whatever area. They also know being feminine does not mean being stupid and dependent on men.

Just wondering do guys really like the whole girly girl thing? i see so many girls put themselves on (make up, heaps of pink etc.) and i just wondered whether u guys actually care? ps. im not one of these people thanks guys! :)
Do guys prefer tomboys or girly girls?
there's this girl i know. she's average looking. she always wears long-sleeves or t-shirts with sweatpants or a pair of jeans. once a week, she occassionally wears feminine clothes, though. guys turn their head at her on the streets. i don't get it. she's not very pretty. there are other girls around her--they wear fashionable clothes. some of them show their legs or their cleavages. to me, they look gorgeous, but guys didn't pay attention to them. that got me wondering....do guys stare at this girl instead of other girls because this ok-looking girl is a tomboy and guys like tomboys?

Many girls are looking for guys with pretty girly faces that does look more like a girl's face than a man's face. I think a man should have a man's face & not a girl face. I can't be attracted to a guy with a girly face unless i'm either a lesbian or a bi curious cuz God forbid if a girl likes a guy cuz his face is like a girl more than a man, then probably she is a lesbian.
