yeah, maybe a new ball cap from his fav sports eam. Not a cd though...music can be way too suggestive and yet impersonal. Acard definatly. Maybe take him out to see a new release he wanted to see but you were not so hot about.

Well i'm very much into photography and when my fiancee and I were fresh in our relationship, I wanted to get him something he'd cherish. I had a few pictures of the both of us, so I went to CVS and made a collage with a few of the pics. For my favorite one of us, I made a 5x7 and made a cute border around it. He speaks french and taught me how to say "I love you", so I added that to the pic as well. Get creative! Think of something you like to do in your spare time and find a way to turn it into a nice gift for your honey. Another suggestion could be to get into his head...kinda. I know the kind of movies my fiancee likes and I treated him for his birthday. I bought 2 comedies and 1 action movie, cooked for him, and did all the cliche stuff after...card, candy, balloon. But you could do something like that. Not necessarily cook for him, but just figure out his favorites and shower him. Let the "common" stuff come later in the relationship... Hope this helps...

Long distance boyfriend doesn't do anything for me on valentines day..?
Unless you want this pattern to continue you best enlighten this man with the traditions of Valentine's day. It is not okay for a boyfriend to "forget" Valentine's day. It is a real holiday, just like Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving. It is not a boys night out. It is meant to celebrate being in a relationship. There is no need to fight over something like this...unless you want to NOT acknowledge Valentine's Day every year for the rest of the time you spend with this man. You can thank all his previous girlfriends and maybe even his mother, for not teaching him this etiquette!! And anyone out there reading this...you can say that this is rude, but if all women would stick to their guns and make sure it's understood this is important, there would be less men out there ACTING as if it's not. I can tell you right now...there is not a ONE of my ex-boyfriends out there "forgetting" valentines day with their current girlfriends. I'm always very nice about it, but also very clear. No. There are some males that don’t know how important this day is to women. I was once in a relationship with a great guy that didn’t get me anything for our first valentines day. When he finally ask me why I was mad at him, I told him. He said that I should have told him.A couple days later, he surprised me with the most gorgeous earrings! Two pair I might add. Sometimes you have to voice your expectations because men, of all people, do not read minds.So if he doesn’t get you anything, do be too upset with him.
