Do I Have A Canker Sore Scared Help

I have a canker sore could i have AIDS?

i know it sounds stupid but i was reading causes for canker sores and one was AIDS. I'm actually a virgin but im still scared cause i have anxiety problems. i was wondering if someone could stop my worrying. please no joke or uneducated answers. I'm a boy as well 18 years old if it matters.

Gave oral sex with canker sore . please help?

Relax, you are overreacting. Let me try to help you.

1) You do not know if your partner has HIV. HIV remains a rare disease specially in industrialized countries like US

2) Even if he has HIV, the chance of contracting HIV from a single episode of unprotected oral sex is around 1 in 10,000, IF your partner is infected. Some experts even believe that there is no chance of HIV transmission by oral sex. There has been NO convincing documented cased of HIV transmission by oral sex.

3) Having Canker Sores does not increase the risk of HIV transmission. The chance of contracting HIV from the scenario that you described is still extremely low (if not zero)

Now, I am sure that my answer will not help you to get rid of this fear completely. The best thing to do for you at this point is to get tested and put this behind you. Test at around 4-6 weeks after exposure and then confirm it with a 3 months conclusive test. It will be negative.

Good luck!

Herpes scare please help!!!?

Canker sores and cold sores are not the same thing.
If she had a cold sore on the out side of her mouth while you shared drinks, then you could get it if you took a drink directly after she did while she had the cold sore.
If it's a caner sore (raised, white, slightly itchy lesions on the inside of the mouth) then you're not going to get them from her. As far as I know canker sores are not contagious, I have both but haven't knowingly passed canker sores or cold sores onto any one.
Also the chances of getting oral herpes through sharing drinks is very small. You would have to take a drink with in seconds of your friend doing so while she had a cold sore in order to have any chance of getting it. The herpes virus dies very quickly once it's exposed to air and it doesn't live in fluids for long periods of time.
You would be more likely to get it if your friend gave you a kiss on or around the mouth while she had a cold sore.

White/yellow roof of mouth and canker sores?

Yeah, it sounds like you may have an oral thrush that is exacerbating your canker sores.

I'd definitely look into some anti-fungal rinses to help knock that out and you might look into immune system boosters.

It's really not uncommon for people with canker sores to get more of them during their period. Any hormonal changes can set those off.

Try taking 2500-5000 mcg/day of vitamin B12 if you get canker sores constantly. That's been shown in studies to knock it out in 75% of people.

For something stronger and short-term, find some Astaxanthin at a vitamin store. It's a super powerful antioxidant that can really help shorten and lessen the canker sores if you take a megadose for a couple of weeks.

But it sounds like you need to get rid of that thrush first. I'm not that familiar with it personally, so you might want to see a doctor.

Good luck!

I gave my boyfriend head and now I have a canker sore?

If you know for a fact that it is just a canker sore then it is not herpes. Canker sore are caused through stress, citrus fruits, braces and also a sharp tooth. It will go away so you don't need to go to a doctor. What i would recommend you to do is rinse your mouth out 2 a day with peroxide. Leave the peroxide in your mouth for at least 2 minutes then spit it out and rinse with water.
PS, you don't have to degrade yourself when asking these questions...

IS iT OK TO EAT RAMEN NOODLES WHEN YUH HAVE A CANKER SORE.?

let it cool a bit? and don't share! haha

Canker sores on inside lips of vagina?

It sounds like you may have herpes. I know how scary it is, but the only way you're going to know is if you go get looked at.

I'm waiting back for my test results to see if I have herpes myself. My symptoms were; painful blister like sores on my vagina, painful urination (because there were sores by the opening of my vagina), swollen lymph nodes in the groin area, swollen tonsils, itchiness on my private area, muscle aches, constipation, etc.

And go get checked while the sores are still there because otherwise its sort of hard to test for herpes. Blood samples can give false negative results because not enough of the virus is in the blood.

But since you said you've had protected sex, maybe you just have a bad yeast infection. Are the bumps really itchy like a rash?

Good luck.

What would happen if a canker sore was left untreated? I just asked a question about a white spot inside of my?

Canker sores will get better on their own without any treatment. But there are things you can do to help it along and to feel better. Orajel and Anbesol, both of which you can get without a prescription, will numb the sore and make it less painful. There are also prescription medications you can get that will help. There are several mouthwashes that can help – look for one without alcohol. Even if you don’t have any of those treatments, you can rinse your mouth with warm salted water several times a day. It is gross, but it will help.

These sites give the details about canker sores and how to treat them.

I kissed a woman deeply and I have a sore gum, what should I do? Does hiv transmit through kissing?

I can’t believe people are still asking this question, in 2016!Kissing is no risk. Oral sex is low risk, except when there is oral bleeding.“Hello,Thank you for contacting AIDS Vancouver. There is no need to worry! Kissing is a no risk activity for HIV transmission. For HIV transmission to occur, a bodily fluid must gain direct access to the bloodstream through a closed route during a risky activity (see Transmission Equation below). Saliva is not a bodily fluid that can transmit HIV. This is because the saliva contains enzymes that inhibit the growth of HIV. Therefore, the only (and highly unlikely) way for HIV to be transmitted through kissing is if you had an actively bleeding wound in your mouth that came into contact with the other person's actively bleeding wound in their mouth. This does not include surface wounds such as those you would get from brushing your teeth, etc. An example of an actively bleeding would would be one from recent dental work. Since the sores in your mouth were not actively bleeding and thus did not provide a direct access to your bloodstream, HIV transmission could not have occurred. To understand how HIV transmission does occur, please refer to the HIV Transmission Equation below. All three factors must be present for HIV transmission to occur.”Can I get HIV by deep kissing while having a sore throat and sore tongue?

I took PEP within 72 hours of exposure but I'm scared. What can be the cause of my sore throat, lymph node, and cough?

I took PEP within 72 hours of exposure but I'm scared. What can be the cause of my sore throat, lymph node, and cough?PEP is effective, but not 100%, meaning that it will not prevent all HIV infections. If started soon after exposure, PEP can reduce the risk of HIV infection by over 80%.You should continue to use condoms with sex partners and safe injection practices while taking PE to protect you from being exposed to HIV again; and to reduce the chances of transmitting HIV to others if you do become infected while you’re on PEP.If you suspect exposure, seek HIV testing to know your status. Fourth generation HIV tests are able to detect Prescence of p24 antigen within two weeks of infection.
