Do I Have An Anxiety Problem

What can doctors do for my anxiety problems?

It sounds exactly like Anxiety. Its nothing to be scared of, just when something happens that you are particulary afraid of you can sometimes "Loose Control" to say. Everything begins to seem so scary when really it shouldnt be. It could help to see a Therapist as they can put you on medication or just talk to you to get over your fears. I have bad anxiety and similar things happen to me on a constant basis, but im seeing a therapist who is currently helping me and giving me meds.
A therapist can also perscribe you some meds that will take effect quickly and last for a few hours that will calm you down to where you think logicaly. You dont take them on a constant basis, you just take 1/2 of an already small pill when you feel really anxious and will feel calmed down and not "Panicy" in about 10 mins. They work great for having anxiety at night too. They help you sleep once taken.
However, if you dont wish to be on meds, which is totally understandable, therapists will also just talk to you and teach you technuiqes to get rid of all your anxiety and how to overcome it. But really, yes, i think you should tell your parents and see a therapist. I have had anxiety all my life and overtime can get worse if not treated. Beleive me when i say that seeing a therapist will trun your life around! The anxiety that no one seems to understand or that seems impossible to go away will go away! When i started my meds, it was an every day thing to be scared. But about 1 month after being on meds, i was about completely over it!
So talk to your parents as they will help you as mine helped me. You will be so much happier :)
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU! ;)
I really hope that this helps you and you can get better soon :)

I feel confined in my own house. Do I have anxiety problems?

I live in my parent's house, but around 60% of the time I stay with my boyfriend.
Whenever I do stay at home for any length of time, even if it's only for 5 or 6 hours, I feel the need to leave. I do not have problems with my parents at all.
When I start to feel like that, I get anxious, fidgety, agitated and sometimes very angry, which leads to becoming very upset.
This can happen whenever, even when I don't have anywhere specific that I want to go!
It's becoming a bit of a problem, as I feel very guilty for not spending as much time with my parents, but when I do stay I seem to upset them with this.

Could someone give me some possibilities on what could be wrong with me?

I feel like I have a really big anxiety problem it's not quick its all the time what do I do?

It's like I get scared of being scared and I get scared about going crazy but I feel like since I'm afraid of that there is no way I could. I am afraid and I am afraid to even talk about it with my mom. It controls my life in a way that it shouldn't and for about a year I was worry free but something triggered the feeling that I had had for 3 years. I basically just want to know what I should do? I'm planning on getting help soon but I feel so alone? Does anyone else feel this way am I alone? Is there hope to get over this?

Anxiety: Do I have problem if I keep dropping out of universities and changing causes every year for 4years due to the fact that I panic if I will get a proper job in the future or not?

Doing something of your interest is the only proper job. How do you define a proper job? does it mean job satisfaction? or it means money? or it means stability? do you like field job or want to stay in office?Instead of changing career options and hovering over from one option to another you must concentrate on these questions. know what is your talent?what is your inclination and your abilities? my friend any job done with precision is the best in itself. your effort matters. you can put your best effort if your inclination is there. each of us have different inclinations and abilities. search what is yours and work in that direction only. that option only can land you in perfect job.

Do I have anxiety problems? PLEASE HELP! 10 POINTS!?

I am 13, & my mom has said to me that she thinks I have anxiety. Also, my english teacher told my mom this too. (My english teacher is a ***** though who doesn't like me for some reason..even tho I am nothing but nice to her. but thats not the point.)
Here are some things that have made me think that i have anxiety:
-Nervousness
-Crying. (Even at the most little problems.)
-Stress
-Worrying about every little thing
-Shaking
-Heart beating kind of fast
-Being paranoid
-Afraid of being embarrased
Etc. (Most of these problems happen at school though.)

And if you think that i DO have anxiety, don't tell me to talk to my mom about it, becuase I would be too embarrased. Just tell me how to get better.
Thank you so much ! :)

Why do people with anxiety problem get treated differently?

Because of stigma.People with anxiety aren’t taken as having a serious enough problem and are often ridiculed and called “attention seekers” since people think that having anxiety with a reason is the same as having GAD or social anxiety. It’s not.Dealing with anxiety when there exists a reason is one thing, but experiencing anxiety, negative and all sorts of nasty thoughts on a daily basis are not the same.As someone who has been affected by anxiety for the past 5 or so years, I can only say that it takes a lot of energy to suppress all sorts of thoughts and calm myself down. But as long as anxiety is seen as something that people use only to seek attention and not as a condition which should be discussed and for people to show more sympathy and understanding, those with that problem will hide it and will avoid discussing it.

Do people living abroad tend to develop anxiety problems?

It depends on the individual. If they are genetically predisposed to anxiety disorders, have certain personality traits like high neuroticism, and have had a lot of environmental stressors growing up then maybe they will develop anxiety problems that can heighten when moving abroad.
